Honestly think that red card is harsh. I know Lundstram polarises views amongst Blades fans at present but, in all honesty, I'd have been more pissed off with him if he'd neshed the challenge. He may or may not play for the Blades again - CW will decide that, none of us - but the challenge reminded me of the one he put in on Grealish..... which many of us lauded him for. But it's the ref on the day who decides.

I'm not bothered if Lundstram plays or if he doesn't... if he stays or leaves..... the only test (as far as I'm concerned) is if a player genuinely wants to be at Bramall Lane and, if he does, then do his form and performances mean he's earned the shirt.

Anyway, here's hoping that we may have quietly turned a corner today.... and here's to a comeback in the 2nd of the season. Merry Christmas Blades!

First post after signing up at the beginning of last season but didn't have a single word to say about our best season in a generation (at least) and instead wait for it all to go wrong and reserve your first words to call one of our players an "absolute stain on our club" and accuse him of deliberately getting a red card. And then you wonder why you get called pork. I actually think it's worse if you're a Blade.

It was the very definition of a 50-50 ball, Lundstram won the ball, stayed on his feet and the two collided in the split second of both going for the ball. Not even a foul in my book - never a red card for any of the big 6 clubs. One of many poor decisions on fouls (for both sides) by the ref today.

I don’t think it’s a red card tackle but the games gone to shit when it comes to tackling. Bookings are given for very little so no surprise it was a red.

The only bit of leeway I give to Lunny is, I’ve played centre mid for a few years (before legs gave up, round about 26 when beer became my first love and I moved to centre half) and my eyes would have lit up seeing that challenge coming. Some people love to tackle as much as scoring. The difference is though he’s a professional and should know better than to give ref an option to off him.
