Well heres the thing.

Leroy Lita
Self styled bad boy - check
Numerous clubs - check
Doesn't stay in any one place for long - check
Best days behind him - check
Already said he didn't want to play for us in the past - check
Would take a chunk of money to pay his wages - check
Wouldn't be fit so wouldn't hit the ground running (in any sense) - check
Appears to be an utter arsehole - check
Totally against the clubs current ethos to employ players with the above attributes - check
Has an almost identical goals per game ratio to Chris Porter - check

Just looks better and better doesn't it.

Personally I would rather wait until the right player came along rather than shoot in my pants every time a "was a good player once" type swims into view. We have an atrocious track record with players like this.

Yes, I am joking about Lupoli but you didn't ought to be looking at a player like Leroy Lita as a solution to anything. Now wheres that cardboard duck?
 
Good player 'once' - he's 29 and scored goals at a rate of close to one in two last season in the league above this!

He's pacy, knows how to find positions and is better than anything we have at the club.

But no, he turned us down once and played for the pigs where he became a big favourite.

Typical narrow minded bladey blade bollocks.
 
You know who ever we sign it will be a disappointment, you don't loan good strikers in February as they have already been snapped up!
 
If we spend much longer "waiting for the right one" it might be too late. I just can't see us scoring enough to stay up unless we bring a decent striker in.

Who do you want us to get? There are no "decent" strikers to be had in the loan market right now. All the "decent" strikers are wanted by their clubs. The ones that we can get now are going out on loan for many reasons, but if they were "decent"' then they'd be playing for their parent club.

What we need is a gamble. A player who is in a goal drought, or recovering from injury, or a big twat who's fallen out with his manager. They are the sort of players who go out on loan at this time of year to sides like us. Not 15 goal-getters.

Numerous clubs - 3 permanent clubs (including his start in football). He has had plenty of loan clubs, but that's modern football. The reason he didn't stay at the majority is due to his demans.
