Fans keep talking about us going down as guaranteed without much investment. However this current side are better than 2 of the bottom 5 plus whoever comes up through the play-offs

I can only see Everton spending a decent amount of money and making significant improvements so hopefully they go down

I think the win we have is quite clearly all the above need a cultural reset and an influx of players in and out whilst we have stability and only need a few strong additions

The deficit we have is all those are capable of investing £30-40m on a couple of marquee signing and supplementing this with 3 or 4 £10m players whilst we don’t have those pockets

I would expect all you have mentioned to take this as a scare and invest as above

On the bright side I can’t see Burnley or whoever goes up via playoffs doing a Forest with the money

Brentford Bournemouth West Ham Fulham wolves and palace, plus who dodges the drop this month - a couple of those will have a shocker next season - so I’ll go with playoff winners and 2 from above to be relegated in 12 months

They look poor at the moment but they’ll all have much more money than we will but that doesn’t guarantee success

I don’t think Leicester have the funds. It was clear they needed some investment at the start of the season. Plus I think Madddison will be gone and 1 or 2 others. Vardy another year older.
Surely Forest can’t continue to invest anywhere near like what they have done. They have bought a lot of expensive duds on big money and will be hard to move on.

Everton are fucked. They’ve been losing £100m a year, they need to find £300m for the new ground that they haven’t yet got finance for, they have a horrifically high wage bill and they are being investigated for FFP. They are also not much better off than us in terms of saleable assets (Pickford, Calvert-Lewin, Onana). I’d rather be us than them.

Leicester, Leeds, Forest and Everton

A player from each that would improve us.

Harvey Barnes,Patrick Bamford,MGW,Michael Kean.
Everton fans are saying replacing Coady with Kean has fucked up a reasonably decent defence. I don’t think Kean would improve us.

Bamford far too injury prone over the years.

Kean yes, wages no on rest, plus Branford’s a useless cunt would rather have McB for defence and the fight

Johnson, Kean, soyunchu and Harrison for me

Agree mate, I wonder if they thought they could scrimp this season and next if not relegated will heed the warning

Barnes, Maddison and Ndidi would bring in £100m

Would love to see pigs break bank for vardy only for him to miss most of season injured then slice a last min penalty over the bar to miss out on promotion and send them into bankruptcy. Again.

We wouldn’t be able to afford Onana.
Think the question was, who would you take from either of those clubs.

If you want to be pedantic, we couldn't afford any of the players mentioned anyway.

Dewsbury-Hall - Leicester
Coady - Everton
Meslier - Leeds
MGW or Dennis - Forest

In that case, considering what we actually need, Pickford, Tielemans, Johnson & Harrison.

Think you’re forgetting these teams look poor because they’re playing: Man City, Man U, Newcastle, arsenal, Liverpool etc every other week.

So yeah we look better pumping Cardiff at home but it’s not a fair comparison. I’m not convinced how many of our players get in any of their teams on individual merit , but as we know it’s a team game so it’s not all about that by any stretch.

The point is it’s impossible to compare until we are in the same division! I honestly have no idea how Leicester are so poor because their squad is of a very good quality compared to many others in that division.

Everton’s the most comparable to ours and isn’t all that much better I would agree!

I get your point but you only play the top 4 twice, after that there’s still 30 games left to play.
The bottom half of the premiership isn’t that much different to the top half of the premiership. Bournemouth are showing it can be done with little investment. Brentford have also stayed up without spending massive amounts of money.

Everton just doing what they always do, getting a win somewhere you don't expect them to and then going on to stay up

Not bad for us IMO because they're a basket case we can take points off and maybe finish above

Similar applies to Leeds

I want Forest and Leicester down. Quite regrettable because ideally Everton would get the relegation they have long deserved

Kin hell, you serious?

Harrison, gnoto, Rodrigo, Summerville Aaronson and you go for crisp packet hands😂
Good to see the rain hasn’t dampened the bank holiday drinking😂😂
Young with lots of potential tbf, but he's been dreadful recently. Can't be easy playing with that defence in front of him though.
