The first time at home for ages...

OS claims changes to the side are unlikely aside from Ehiogu coming into the side for Morgs (suspended).

Del is apparently close to a comeback and both he and Lee Martin could play a part on Tuesday night.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHH lol

Wooo :) job done in 20 minutes!

terrible terrible performance!!!!

On a serious note, I thought we played very well and deserved more than the 3 goals.

Much better from Cotteril, near enough every ball was in the right area.

Another really good game from Naysmith and Ugo especially in the first half but thought he got a little "dodgy" with some of his attempted clearences towards the end of the match, due to tiredness though.

Killgallon played well again, as always.

And now for that lazy get Beattie!! How crap is he!? Funny thing is, is that near me a bloke said "the only problem with Beattie is that he's not a natural goalscorer" - just before he scored 3 in 5minutes:p

Up the Blades

Great game.

Cant remember the last time we wrapped up a game in the 1st half.

Dont think anyone put a foot wrong today.

Good game from Mr Ehiogu.

Was actually, defended really well.

Great game all round, fantastic performance, I think they strted to chill out abit too much in the middle of the game, but defended really well, and every attacked looked like another goal was ging to come from it!

Very impressed with beattie showing he wants to play and deserves to start!

I think it was a good performance but when it got to 3-0 i think we got sloppy at times

We attacked so well upto 3 - 0 then did hold back and relax

Ugo had a great game too

Thought we should have had two more penalties in the second half, but hey we won 3-0 so can't complain too much.

Both of the cop outs you mention were far worse than the one we actually got the pen for!

As soon as we went 2up the officials visably went into 'feeling sorry for them' mode.

Pitch looked terrible after that downpour (you know the one I was stood outside in, gentlemen :p). Thought it was going to be a scrappy affair but we'd killed the game off before Leicester even had chance to string a few passes together.

Holloway was furious for the sending off, it pretty much wrote the game off for them.

Some people are complaining that we didn't push harder in the second half, but with Tuesday night in the backs of the players' minds, I'm glad they didn't in some ways. No injuries, three goals, three points and a clean sheet with the reserve goalkeeper in the net.

Definitely nothing to complain about from me (apart from T'Lion running out of cheese butties :()

The foul on Cotterill was a stone wall penalty from what I saw.

Although BT got hat trick, i voted for naysmith. I've slagged him off pretty much all season, but under blackwell he looks a different player. Weather he has more fitness so can afford to go running up and down the line and covering more people and staying with his man.

Bennett is a good keeper and never let us down, if paddy gets injured im not that bothered as i know benno can step up to it. Hardest thing for him was in the second half and there player tried taking it round him and shooting but he got down well and saved it.

We should have had 2 more pens, as foxy says, both were worse than the one we got.

Cotterill was alot better today than at preston. getting to the flank and putting killer balls in.

S.quinny had a great game too battling and trying to make things.

Ugo played well, if he couldnt tackle them, he dragged them to the floor. Good lad :D

I can't believe how one sided this poll is.

Yes Beattie will get the plaudits because he hit a hat trick, however then Man of the Match was clearly Stephen Quinn. He got stuck in for everything, put in some rather dangerous balls and never stopped running. I'm not his biggest fan normally, but his performance today was the best I've ever seen from him.

Also the penalty that never was when he got brought down was unreal. The ref bottled giving us anything today.

Cotterill MoM. Put some brilliant balls in from the right and always looked to go at his man. Should have been awarded what was a blatant pen as well in the second half

Got to give a big shout out to the Leicester fans who came to the Lane as well. They were quiet as mice at the Walkers earlier on in the season (might've been something to do with the fact we beat them 0-1) but the travelling army did them proud.

The only thing really uncalled for was the rather personal abuse Gillespie received as he came on. Fair enough a laugh and a bit of banter but that was verging on nasty.

I just wish the home fans at BDTBL would recreate what the Blades on Tour manage every other week. There's no way we should be that quiet when we're winning 3-0... shell shock or not.

4-0 United.
I wasn't too far off. Probably should have been 4+

Good solid performance yesterday, they hardly had any chances. I was pleasantly suprised with how Ehigou played:)

Thought the game went a bit flat. But we cant complain can we:p

I wonder what the record is for number of captains one team can have in a game... Leicester's captain's armband was cursed yesterday.

Kisnorbo was the captain to start with, then got sent off and passed the armband on to Oakley who was substituted on 63 minutes. Then did it go to McAuley who was also substituted before being passed on to someone else?

Four captains in total, is that right?

Yeah I noticed that, mentioned it to my dad. :D
