Sheffield United legends Keith Edwards, Robert Page, Curtis Woodhouse, Carl Bradshaw, Mitch Ward and Georges Santos are returning to Bramall Lane - for a special date.

They will be the focal point for a fans' forum to be held on Tuesday 18th March at Bramall Lane which will be recorded by BBC Radio Sheffield and broadcast on the eve of the Club's 125th anniversary game against Wolverhampton Wanderers (22nd March).

And you could be in the audience for the event. Tickets are complimentary and can be picked up from the Blades Superstore at 9am tomorrow (Friday 14th March) to supporters aged 18 or over.

Allocation will be one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis as numbers are strictly limited to 250.

BBC Radio Sheffield Sports Editor Paul Walker will chair the panel of ex-stars, assisted by Sheffield United's Supporter Liaison Officer John Garrett.

John said: "This is a unique gathering which will no doubt trigger so many memories from recent decades. It will be a fun and fascinating look back at United's recent playing history - there will be so many stories to tell."

The event will be held in the Platinum Suite. Doors open at 6.15pm and the evening will commence at 7pm. It will be recorded and the highlights broadcast on the evening of Friday 21st March following Football Heaven - the perfect start to an anniversary weekend!

I think only Edwards deserves to be called a legend out of those lot to be honest.
I remember when there were ex-players on the pitch before our Friendly match against Everton in August 1997, there was one (I will call him "Pigeon chested") who didnt play many games for us in 1980s and was one of our worst ever players but he was looking very proud to be in the same crowd as Badger, Hemsley, Booker, Dearden, Alan Kelly, Deano etc

Robert Page, Curtis Woodhouse, Carl Bradshaw, Mitch Ward and Georges Santos.....

One things for sure, we better all behave ourselves!!!

Is anyone off here going to this? Tickets still available and if they're owt like the other nights that John Garrett runs, it'll be good value to say it's a freebie.

If anyone needs any tickets reserving, let us know and we'll see what we can do for you.
