Looking forward to this as the Friday night game, great start to the weekend.

How do people want this to go ?

Personally, I’m hoping for a West Brom win, which would ease the pressure on Monday’s game, because whatever happens, we’re still 2nd. Hopefully, pulling away from Leeds by 3 points and 10 plus better goal difference.

Alternatively, if Leeds win or it’s a draw, it does give us something to chase and we seem to be doing ok chasing the top 2 down at the moment ! But if the unthinkable happens on Monday, they’ll gloat to an annoying extent and I can hear the “stopped Sheff Utd going back to the top 2” being said on Sky.

Maybe I’m thinking about it too much

Didn't think of it like that. I wanted a draw but now I'm not too sure

Leeds win for me
Then we'll have to chase them, plus it keeps WBA well behind us

Don't ever give ANY Sheffield United team a feeling that they can have a day off without too much damage being done

Anything but a West Brom win, ideally a draw. I think Leeds will struggle to get into the top 2 regardless.

Not sure about that, Leeds have the much more tactically astute manager who could drag results out of tight games, West Brom have a manager who just picks his players and hopes for a bit of individual magic.

I don't think theres a bad outcome for us in this one.

Leeds win keeps a WBA challenge at bay.

A WBA win gives us a platform to build a gap on Leeds.

A draw is a watered down version of both of the above.

Of course, it's only of any relevance if we do the business ourselves.

Agree I want WBA as far away from us as possible. Leeds are looking dodgy right now and have plenty of tough games left, ideally draw but if not Leeds win.

Surely a West Brom win or a draw I don’t get anyone saying Leeds win Leeds May tail off but surely it’s Down to what we do isn’t it if so West Brom win or draw and it’s in our own hands

Leeds have the hardest fixtures of the top 4. They haven't been convincing for a long time, all wins have been narrow. Roofe's injured and they're now relying on Bamford. Bielsa's tactical ability is their hope.

It's also in our hands to beat Leeds.

I want West Brom out of the way. I'll back us to get more points than Leeds from here on.

Fair points, either way it’s in our own hands as we speak now.

Guess I’m not looking beyond Monday and all I’m thinking about isgiving them fuckers as little as possible to shout about should something bad happen on Monday.

Plus we have a chance to pull away nicely if West Brom win.

Ricky is changing my mind though !

If West Brom end up staying in the division then they have to get rid of Moore. Anything other than top 2 really is failure with that squad. Where had he been before West Brom? Or did he just stumble into the job and their premier league stars have won him enough games to keep him in the job without having to think about tactics and planning?

Prefer a draw but I really see West Brom as a bigger danger than Leeds. If they click then they are the best team in this division. Seen the comments about why would anyone write off Leeds? The answer is they’ve been consistently decent since Christmas but at no point have they looked anywhere like a top 2 side in any game.

So would rather Leeds win that West Brom.

If they hadn't appointed him though there would have been widespread outrage, because.... you know.

Not having that squad near the top must be pretty unavoidable. High quality players, a lot of good professionals and experienced players who he's leaned on, and additionally it's almost an all British squad too, which is beneficial in their scenario.

If Leeds win, 3 points. If Baggies win, 3 points. If they draw, 2 points. In the grand scheme of things, a draw is best as there's a point less needed somewhere!

Ok i was wanting a West Brom win but now I've thought about it a little more then it has to be a bore draw now.

If they draw and we win then we are 2 in front of Leeds and 6 in front of West Brom.

That would be a perfect Scenario. Week after we hopefully turn over the Millers and then Leeds the week after.

If the above happens then we are looking very strong for autos indeed with a minimum of 5 points ahead of Leeds. We have to win our next 4 games though with Brentford sandwiched in there.

Think that's a bit unfair on Moore, who'd got them playing better when he was caretaker. He's popular among the fans...and presumably relatively cheap to pay (and sack). WBA are doing far better then Stoke and Villa, who both have similar quality on paper.

A draw or a West Brom win please. Leeds burning out would make things infinitely easier for us [there are signs of this happening anyway] and the Baggies home form will see them continue to drop enough points, cancelling out any win tomorrow relatively quickly.

Brom win. Then we just need to keep outdoing them to stay second.
It's a no brainer.
