Leeds or Sunderland

Don't get this Leeds love in, they bottled promotion last season and they have a weaker side this season. No way are they 'comfortably' the best team in the division. They have a shit keeper and full backs who can't defend and a centre half who is ŵeak as shit.

The way to beat them is to attack their weaknesses. Make sure Rak Sayki starts, get balls into the box from out wide and attack the keeper at set pieces. Let Souza play CDM, watch Peck and Ohare buzz about and pressure them and get Gus on the ball as much as possible
.....easy being am armchair manager isn't it 😃

Agree…..think some fans are preparing themselves for the disappointment of losing.
Suspect Wilder will be deliberately bigging up Leeds in the pre-match press conference too but inside him and the players will feel really confident of winning.

The pens weren’t terrible…I’ve seen far worse.

He didn’t put it right in the corner but he got plenty of power on it….the goalie made 2 really good saves.
It reminded me of the Sunderland penalty miss at Bramall Lane, that was a decent ish penalty too…but Cooper pulled off a brilliant save.

The positive for us going into the Leeds match and if we perform well win.
However in most matches we’ve struggled to perform, however in the last 2 months we’ve been ravaged with injuries.

No excuses this time….next week….we’ll have our strongest squad of the season with an impressive subs need.
Think we need to replicate what we did against Boro by going for it with a high tempo from the 1st minute.

But I reckon Wilder will be tactically careful and play the 1st half like a game of chess, so it’ll probably be 0-0 at half-time.
Then he’ll raise it and take risks in the 2nd half. Easier said than done….but think we should try to win it in the 1st half..then keep going.
I thought they were poor personally, definitely 1 that was similar to moore pen misses.

Agree regarding no excuses and if we play like we did and can do vs boro then we should be beating Leeds.

My fear is Wilder showing too much respect like he did earlier on in the season at elland road. Take the shackles off and have a go.

Can’t really blame him. He’d achieved everything he could with us. 3/4 of the squad had left and he had a year left on his deal.

He’s not a Sheffield United or Leeds fan. He probably just fancied something different and it’s going pretty well for him.

We don’t like players moving on because we love our club but it’s just changing jobs to them.
I would imagine he has had a considerable uplift in salary moving up to Leeds too, as well as the signing on fee and probably a proportion of the transfer fee we received.

In any case...only a swivel eyed loon would suggest that we're a bigger club than Leeds, particularly when we're both in the same division. Like it or not they're more attractive than us; with the offset being a big increase in pressure when things don't go so well.

Completely agree, they had 35,000 at home for a cup game against Millwall.

Much of the ‘big club’ is irrelevant these days because Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth are all better teams at the moment and that’s all that counts.

But you can definitely see the appeal of why someone would want to play for Leeds over us. I’m sure Hamer wouldn’t have turned it down if the bid had been accepted.

Leeds is a one club city. They do have a big following.

if we go at them from the kick off like we did with boro we will beat them if we show them too much respect like we did at bellend road we could lose its down to wilder like a previous poster has said i would sooner us go for them from the off and if we lose we lose but i think the leeds defence is iffy if you attack them and get plenty of crosses in to test melier early doors 3 points for the blades 👍⚔️⚔️⚔️
