"You can’t say that this result is crucial but at the same time, we can’t deny the importance of this game. The game was very important and we lost it.

“I don't want to underestimate the victory of the opponent but if we analyse the game we can't be unsatisfied. We're disappointed with the result and if the opinion is that we didn’t deserve to draw, I have a different opinion.

“What happened today (missed chances) has happened many times in past games. We had three times more chances to score than the opponent and they scored the goal.

"After undergoing so many situations like today, I don't feel I have the right to explain how unfair the result is.”

He makes no mention of his keepers red card rugby tackle to prevent the score being 0-2 instead of 0-1. Unfair no.
You didn't deserve to draw no team can win with zero shots on goal your finishers were garbage.

I thought he really lost it when the interviewer tried to move on and ask about the promotion race, and Bielsa continued insisting the interviewer answer the previous question. Whether that was to continue his point that he was unhappy with the question, or an easy way out of talking about the promotion race I’m not sure. He definitely seemed rattled, and it’s great for us that they have to wait two weeks to get back out and try to get back on track.

I remember an interview with mick McCarthy last season at the lane,funnily enough same scoreline and scorer,he said basically very close game we blinked and they got the goal.

I interpreted that as being it was a tight game which on the analysis we didn’t deserve to win, which is fair. Doesn’t mean he felt Leeds deserved to either IMO.

After a defeat I sometimes take comfort from what our Manager has to say, Warnock was good at lifting spirits IMO and so is Chris (on the rare occasions it happens). But as a supporter if this was my Manager after a loss, fuck me, you'd think this was the last match of the season and they had missed out on promotion by a point, dear oh dear.
