Looking on the Leeds forums they just don't appear confident. It many ways it was like reading the comments of some of our forum posters.
Four of their six matches are against teams who have something to play for. A lot seem to think that if they don't get a positive results against Preston it's all over.
Many see us as organised and defensively very resolute. Comments like Bamford is a donkey and ripping into various defenders. Seem to think they will lose some of the six matches ahead. Apparently their best player (not sure who that is) was seen leaving St Andrews in a protective boot.
Despite Leeds fans being quite down at the moment I see a lot of twists and turns to come over the next few weeks. Personally I was gutted after the Bristol City game not just because we lost but because we deserved to lose, they were better than us on the day. Being in third place I felt shit all week. I'm up today and its been a fantastic weekend but I know how quickly things can change.
Looking at both teams the one thing I am confident about is that we have Wilder in charge, he really can be the difference. We will be prepared, of that I'm sure, there are no easy games against us. When was the last time we were battered by anyone (Shit just remembered Birmingham at home 1-1 but we were lucky)
If Leeds lose or draw on Tuesday then we have a real chance to have a little daylight between us and Leeds on Weds.
As a lifelong Blade I never take anything for granted and expect the worst to happen, it has so many times in the past. It was nice to see that Leeds fans are as bad if not worse than us and are certainly not over confident apart from one or two.
Absolutely. For the avoidance of doubt it also clouds judgement when having one too.
I was at Hillsborough that day with my mates, watching Wednesday vs Shrewsbury (?), back then as school kids we used to do both clubs. In those days at Bramall Lane the atmosphere was always so much better, that is one of the many things that drew me to be a Blade.Won 3-1 at Norwich (Guthrie, Stainrod, Currie) which was Kenworthy's debut. Won 1-0 at L**ds (Woodward)
The very few occasions when league positions have been decided on goal difference, of course.

Birmingham away to get into Europe, anyone remember that one Keith Eddy era.
There was a picture of Hernandez with a protective boot on after the Brum game, but he didn't have crutches, so probably nothing major.[/QUOTE
Sprained his toenail which should affect his Olympic standard of diving.

I will be watching BBC's championship scores on Tuesday and on Wednesday, sad I know. I live in Todmorden and can't get radio Sheffield grrrr
Try putting the tv on and cycling backwards from beeb 1.
Radio Sheffield is around 878? maybe. Can't remember exact channel number.
I have used that in Haworth when I couldn't get radio Sheffield.
Be very careful doing such things. There are certain other channels close to that range.![]()
