Why anyone could get worried about bloody Lee Evans playing against us today I have no idea. I thought it was great news when I heard he was playing against us today.

Now if we were playing someone today and Fleck, Duffy or Norwood were potentially lining up against us, I might have a completely different view about Utd letting them play....

The advantage of letting Leonard play was that we got more money for him.

As far as Evans goes, it seems to me like it would be grossly unprofessional to agree to sell a player on a certain date and then fudge your paperwork the day before in order to delay it.

We've made profit on two players who weren't up to our standards. Let the club take credit where it's due.

Presumably there's some sort of history between Evans and some of the lads. Maybe words of an unsavoury mix were exchanged at some point?

Clearly there's antagonism, but glad to say it didn't spill over into anything other than posturing.

One thing I'll never forget will be the world class volley that Evans scored while still a Blade.
