What about the fact it was the worst 45 I've ever seen in an attacking sense from us under Wilder?

We were better at home to the other year when we got hammered.

We conceded 2 goals in 7 minutes was it? It was never going to be fantastic from then on in. Point taken, but I would just tweak the formation get Duffy back into the side and then start again with 3-4-1-2.

Lets see where we are come Saturday morning in terms of players.

I never said he shouldn't be dropped, I just said that calling him 'lazy', 'unfit' and in particular 'shit' shows an astounding lack of class and makes you look very fickle.

All football fans are fickle because the form of players fluctuates. I am calling Clarke out on his crap performances that date back to last season. If he goes and scores a hat trick against QPR (coz he won't be dropped) then I will take my humble pie.

Regardless of how well Sharp does or has done in the past, some on this forum still want him gone and he is younger than Clarke.

Someone said it elsewhere but the midfielder of Evans, flecks and lundstram has only worked once (away against Norwich)

Duffy needs to be playing if we want to create anything.

If you combine that with not being able to defend its gonna be a long season.

We used Evans, Fleck and Lundstrom at home against Cardiff, Millwall and Middlesbrough with some degree of success. We also used it away at Ipswich where we played pretty well. It wasn't successful at Birmingham and you could argue it failed at Barnsley, although Evans went off after just 39 minutes, so that was less than half a game to judge, but we were trailing 1-0 at the time and the game wasn't going how we wanted it to.

So, oddly, it seemed to work quite well against some of the better sides, but not so well against weaker sides!

We used Duffy, Fleck and Evans at home to Leeds and Burton, and away to Reading. We won all 3 matches. However we also used it at home to Preston and lost.

Based on what is a quite small sample of games, it looks like the Duffy, Fleck, Evans combination gives us the greatest chance of winning.

However, looking at how well we did against Middlesbrough, Millwall and Cardiff gives some understanding of why Wilder went with that trio for the first two games of this season, especially as one of those games was against Middlesbrough.

Things really are bad right now! The BBC have us in our very own relegation spot in 25th position! The horizontal lines didn't come out when copying but trust me they had the 25th position with its own separate line across and the three places above then with a line across. West Brom in 17th and then Wednesday should be in 18th but its skipped a number and has them in 19th,resulting us in 25th place!

It’s not as serious or bad as a lot think. Our major problem in both matches has been defence. To concede like we did from corners and one player (Swansea) ripping apart the defence, makes it impossible for the others to perform with confidence. We have options at the back and that’s where along with playing Woodburn and Duffy the rebuild should start.
