Didn't realise Preston had strengthened so little. Hanging on to Garner could be key for them though.

They'll have done brilliantly to keep him after his goal tally for last season. But he's an odd player - no particular attributes of his stand out, but he just gets goals. Plus I saw him score one of the best goals I've ever seen live last season….

Anyway, PNE taken as a whole are solid but pedestrian, so nothing to fear.

Looking at that, Orient have recruited well having lost 3 possibly 4 good players. Probably balanced them up to what they had last season, though the replacement keeper may not measure up. People are saying the division is shit, but Brentford have done a fair bit of recruiting from the division for the championship!

Who are the 3 or 4 players? Only Odubajo played regularly last season.

Orient lost Odubajo for 1mill plus. Apart from Jamie Jones who was offered a pay as you play contract, the rest were all released with little to no first team action. They finished 3rd using hardly any players, of which only Odubajo played regularly.

They've brought in two senior keepers from the Championship to replace Jones, one of which was ever present when Doncaster won League One two seasons ago.

McAnuff who was almost ever present and captained Reading is the replacement for Odubajo. Darius Henderson, Jay Simpson, Bradley Pritchard & Shane Lowry all brought in to the first team picture, meaning a lot more strength in depth then last season.

Hey, I agree with you. I think you should be easy top 6, probably top 3. However Orient have a few glass empty fans, admittedly less than us, but I've met a few miserable sods who don't think you'll finish as high as last season.

You'll need strength in depth to cover Henderson and Lowry's suspensions. They managed 3 red cards between them in 25 appearances in our relegation season. Ill disciplined twats.
