Goalscoring midfielder with promotion-chasing Northampton, unusual name, former protege of Poz Nige at Reading - what's not to like?

It is a very odd surname? Anybody got any ideas?

I was wondering if its a way a family changes its name to make it sound a bit more acceptable, like perhaps it was 'Death' therefore de Ath which is still a bit morbid so they did what the French would do if a word started with a vowel and elided it as D'Ath? - I don't suppose we'll ever know.

He's not ex premier, he's not 30 and he won't want 8k per week....next

Posh Spice is a slapper
She does it in the bath
She's gunna keep flicking bean

There was a long serving Reading goalkeeper called Steve Death. He is dead now!

Exactly that.

There was a bloke who worked at BT's Martleshham Labs years ago called Dr De'ath (pronounced Dee Ath) who got very grumpy when people mispronounced it.

Did he have a white cat and live in a hollowed out Volcano?
