There seems to be less rumours about now we can sign someone.

Strange that!

Did i miss the return of Curtis Woodhouse or does the Sheffield Star know something we don't?

The online version of the sheffield star contains the following line in its match preview:

Brian Deane is unlikely to be considered for selection until next month while Curtis Woodhouse is expected to start on the bench

not quite "the great I am" anymore is he??

i used to love the guy, when he was at united i thought he had the talent to possibly make it very far and have a very successful career, and then he left us too early which cocked his career up.

IMO exactly what happened to Martin Smith.

Plus his legendary nights out with Wayne Quinn didn't do him any favours either.

They once asked to move in together, I'm told the response was "fuck off".

didn't neil warnock (think it was him) sit him and down and give him a good chat about fast cars, women and beer? liked his money a bit too much me thinks... he was warned that if he carried on he'd just go down the pan and low and behold - he has

money can go to ya head. quinn was an excellent player, then he left and became shite.

Quinn had knee problems which limited his success at Newcastle - he's now playing in the Devon/Cornwall semi-pro league! Think he's only about 29 too. Feel sorry for him, not so much for Woodhouse.

quinn used to be my fave player, when he came back i was well chuffed but he wasnt good anymore:(

Quinny pissed it up against the wall as much as Woodhouse did, only difference being Woodhouse got in the papers for it and Quinny didn't.

Quinny didn't quite as much as Woodhouse and Woodhouse was a bad influence. I had a mate who was on a YTS mid to late 90s and Woodhouse befriended him. Needless to say my mate thought it was great going out every other night getting battered and turning up late for training, being sick every hour. Of course he got released before signing pro.

I heard he was living in a caravan in middle of nowhere happy as larry!

Quinny lived across the road from me. It was wild party after wild party and the local KFC was a major draw.

Don't forget all the sarnies from Sausage Roger!

:D

Yeah Quinn is playing for Truro now!

I met Curtis Woodhouse once at the Don Hotel at Swinton, when he and a few other old players(think Adam Burley was one) came to do a presentation, as the Don Hotel used to be Sheffield United,Swinton Supporters club.
