Wow, interview was a breath of fresh air compared to NA's last season. Loved the stance on Dean Hammond, Like that he admitted that we need a Center Half (I know it's obvious but our past 2 managers failed to see this).

Happy that we're at least looking for some premiership loans, always been irritating to see other clubs in our league pick up these brilliant youngsters that zipped past our clueless defense. Very encouraging so far!

The Star said that Long would be staying. Personally I've got mixed views on that, because if he is the same as this season, then for me he doesn't command his area, and for a keeper that's essential. Still punches rather than catches too much for my liking.

Colin Doyle from Blackpool is an obvious replacement for me.

Seems as if there are deals that are imminent at least! Really hope its Duffy and Tafazolli. As for the interview, Wilder is just totally in touch with football at this level in terms of the budget (which we can all argue we shouldn't have but that's another debate!) and no doubt beyond. No nonsense and the players will definitely play for someone as straight forward as him. I love that he wants to give McNulty and Scougs a go again. McNulty should bag us 10 - 15 goals next season, from the bench and some starts.

Who's Kevin Long then? Not heard much about that rumour but clearly Gidds has!

Staying with us , or training with the two you mention and sat on his arse on the bench for the rest of the season . Improvement and career advancement - Nil . However the £15k > a week may sway his decision . If so CW will drive him there .

Thanks for posting that good listen, not a "endeavour" "keep it out one end put it in the other" or "do it in the arena"' to be heard.

I've never known a manager to make such a positive impact in such a short space of time he seems to saying and doing allot of what we think should happen and what should be said, love the line about Hammond.

So in stark contrast to the end of season mood there is certainly a new found optimism already brought about through Mr Wilders no nonsense approach already ...... Good job so far and I for one are already looking forward to next season playing back in our red and white stripes at fortress BDTBL
