That's all that we lost by today. Didn't get fucked all over, goalie didn't fuck up, didn't create a lot but it'll come. All the "we're down" and "Wilder out" shit is complete fucking bollocks. Talk about overreacting, it's fucking ridiculous.

I'm not some pussy who's all sweetness and light, I'll give out as much shit as anybody when we deserve it but fuck me, a last minute penalty and you're whining like bitches. Fucking laughable.

Admittedly only 4 games but when it is the worst start to a season in 21 years and we are bottom of the league are you saying we shouldn't question the manager?

Promotion favourites to bottom of the league in 4 easy steps. Fu##ing laughable.
 
Exactly....to a side everyone said would be top 2/3....in a game everyone said we wou,d get a dicking....and we didn't.
A team well short of what we want, well short of what the manager has declared he wants and still time to put that right.

Anyone who thought we were going to walk the league, get a good start was living in cuckoo land. We just have to calm the fuck down, and let the bloke do the job needed.
If he's let down by the owner....blame the owner.
If he gets backed and his players in but we are still shit by February then he will Have to hold his hands up. KM is expecting progress from last season....that's the minimum required.


I just hope Wilder hasn't been sold down the river by those bastards in charge.
 
Yeah I mean anyone would think we've lost to a team who got beat 5-0 in their last game.

We have to, it's not the results that are the main concern just yet, it's the performances, Two shots on target in Four games?
 
The first post that is actually sensible. Anyone who says promotion favourites must be seriously stupid, neither myself or anyone I have spoken to have said they thought we would be favourite. Granted I disk to expect bottom, I won't be worried until after Christmas. We need to gel and that isn't going to happen over night we have 10 days to get in what we need. So stop getting over excited and get backing the blades.

I agree. I just wish I could be see the all positives.

What is gutting is how weak the side looks compared to the one 6 seasons ago. We were dicking sides about week in week out. We don't look capable of doing that anymore and that's down to how poorly we've done in cultivating this squad. We're worse off in every position
 
We gave away a last minute penalty. It didn't just happen. And even if we hadn't, we'd be on two points, a whole 10 points off the top after four games.

Fair enough, when I was younger I would get upset and say alsorts of crap after a loss, now? I still feel the same after a loss as I used to, however I tend not to over react as I once did, I suppose its called growing up.
 
Most people aren't kicking off because we have lost today. People are kicking off because we are into the 4th game of the season and the squad isn't even half built. Two players on the transfer list played today purely out of necessity. Wilder doesn't want them but they have had to play. It's pure negligence that we've gone into a league game playing the team that we have put out today. It's negligence that we have let go of two first teamers when we clearly had no concrete immediate plans to replace them

We may sign 6 players in the next 10 days and mount a promotion push but as it stands now we are into a season and having to play transfer listed players, players out of position and players who were originally signed as squad members. Whatever happens in the future it is complete mismanagement that we have gone into a season in such a state.

I blame the board. We're getting players, just not the players we want because the club won't go the whole hog and pay the asking price.

All well and good not being held to ransom but 6 years in this shithole suggests that at some stage you have to go for it.

Wilder has quite clearly identified targets that we "haven't got over the line". I imagine that countless players have turned us down due to wages or whatever. We seem to have gone from one extreme to the other. The so called transfer committee are supposedly there to make sure past mistakes aren't repeated. Well we have sold two first teamers without replacing them whilst also failing to get in many of the managers targets. We have also ended up going into a season and the manager has openly stated he wants another 4 players. Wilder clearly had an idea of who he wanted in and in an ideal world he would have had his squad sorted weeks ago. If we were just a few players short you could forgive it but we are talking half a team here

I do think Wilder has grossly misjudged the quality of this league and also the character of the players he has brought in though to be fair

Hmmm... Our new CB totally misjudged the cross and knowing the striker was flying in he decided to punch it. Could have been a red card before the rule changes.

Their first goal was a great hit, but I wonder if our defence should have pushed out a bit quicker.

Our goal was jammy - not dissimilar to Southend's opener on Tuesday. We need to cash in on good fortune when we get it. :(
