Last FA Semi Final at Wembley.....

.....was against them some 21 years ago and being just an early teenager at the time.

Sat on them horrible red benches which were classed as seats with my family. (Mine had come away so everytime i moved the seat fell off.)

Anyway to the point, at the end I was close to tears (ok I was crying), and a very old gentleman saw me put his arm around me and said

"We'll be back here again soon"

Minus the play offs the guy was right, the gentleman may no longer be with us (given his age at the time) but trust me if we win on Sunday I will spare a thought for him. Whoever is was and where ever he is now.

C'mon Blades! Just once please.......

I remember after the Burnley play off final, standing in the concourse area, our Jack, aged about 9, crying and an old boy coming up to him, ruffling his hair and saying 'Don't worry lad, they'll let you down again next season'.
