He's a excellent player but even if we could get him I really don't think we should be blowing our budget on a position we don't really need replacing, Get some midfielders in.

He’s been the best right back in the world for the last 5 years. And although his pace is a big part of his game he also has footballing intelligence that will see him carry on for a few years yet even when he does start to slow. Easily the best player ever produced by this club.

for us oldies len badger and mick jones would be candidates for your last line

With five Premier League titles, four league Cups and two FA Cups and named in the PFA Team of the Year three times not to mention 75 England caps – there’s a case to be made he is England’s greatest ever defender.

Don’t think you can judge it on caps and honours, for example Gary Neville won more caps and far more honours won.

Walker isn’t coming to the lane, I just can’t see it. If by some miracle he ended up here next season not only would we have one of if not thee best RBs in world football but we’d also have a fantastic deputy on the bench waiting to take his place. We need other areas sorting, RB is the least of our problems and for the money needed to make it happen wouldn’t make it worthwhile, due to the other areas we need to sort out.

Walker has been the best English right-back for a long time. Pep does not think he fits into his style of Play. well, he keeps picking him. had a great game in the cup final today. I am sure he will pick him again for The Champions League final next Saturday.

I’m an oldie too & loved the likes of Badger, Woodward etc. But KW is light years ahead of them.
different eras though as for kyle no very much doubt he will come here next season but if we were to stay in the premier league i think we could get him for the 24/25 season i dont think money would be an issue hes made enough of that and knows full well we wouldnt be paying a big salary

Walker will likely be leaving Man City this summer. Pep recently said that while Walker is still one of the fastest players at the club, he no longer fits into their system of play and he is looking for a replacement.
Ever since Pep said that about Kyle he seems to have gone up another notch. Was it a master stroke by a very good manager? He has also played in all the big games since too.

Better than Bobby Moore?
It’s an interesting debate. Moore has captained a World Cup winning side. Winning the competition , never mind being captain is a relatively rare achievement across world football.

That said Walker has far more silverware and has been very close to winning the Euros and got to a World Cup semi final.

Walker has surpassed far more lauded England defenders (Ferdinand, Adams, Campbell, Butcher) but many simply wouldn’t recognise that, mainly because he hasn’t had his head bandaged up during a game or whatever. You could also argue that had more players been at his standard England would have won at least one tournament in the past 10 years.

Not saying they weren't very good players, they clearly were. The latter stopped my Dad getting a contract with us early 60's.

However, neither reached the level of Kyle at club or international level.

The won more trophies angle is somewhat skewed by the fact that in Moore's days there were no billionaire owners buying trophies.
All titles and cups were spread out among plenty of teams.

Pep is a genius. Look at all the other superstar teams that fail to deliver. He presses buttons always to get the best out of his players- never just to bitch about them. Many may have tactical nous but managing big egos is a rare skill

Easily the best player to ever come out of United’s youth system.

Gi’or. Telling me you wouldn’t move on for the chance to play at the elite level, win trophies every year and earn enough to probably set your grandkids’ kids up for life?

They talk bollox
As though they'd play their entire career for United and then have to sell Big Issue for the rest of their lives when they'd finished playing

Kyle is a bubbly premadonna and likes the sound of his own voice ( I have some insider knowledge) albeit I think everyone knows this anyway I think Pep has played a blinder keeping him in check after his (Kyle’s) faux pas allegedly showing off his John Thomas.

peps got an open cheque book thats what peps got all this adulation for him and city by the pundits and never ever a mention about the money hes had to spend on the worlds best footballers but thats the premier league and why it will always be dominated by the richest clubs
