I’m guessing at 33 he might not be as quick as he was at 26. I did caveat it by saying he’s still lightening quickNot as quick? He's the fastest player in the prem?!

for us oldies len badger and mick jones would be candidates for your last lineHe’s been the best right back in the world for the last 5 years. And although his pace is a big part of his game he also has footballing intelligence that will see him carry on for a few years yet even when he does start to slow. Easily the best player ever produced by this club.
With five Premier League titles, four league Cups and two FA Cups and named in the PFA Team of the Year three times not to mention 75 England caps – there’s a case to be made he is England’s greatest ever defender. He’s been the best right back in the world for the last 5 years. Don’t think you can judge it on caps and honours, for example Gary Neville won more caps and far more honours won. With five Premier League titles, four league Cups and two FA Cups and named in the PFA Team of the Year three times not to mention 75 England caps – there’s a case to be made he is England’s greatest ever defender.
I’m an oldie too & loved the likes of Badger, Woodward etc. But KW is light years ahead of them.for us oldies len badger and mick jones would be candidates for your last line
Neville is a prime example of someone making the absolute most of his career through commitment, effort & a strong mentality.Don’t think you can judge it on caps and honours, for example Gary Neville won more caps and far more honours won.
Better than Bobby Moore? With five Premier League titles, four league Cups and two FA Cups and named in the PFA Team of the Year three times not to mention 75 England caps – there’s a case to be made he is England’s greatest ever defender.
Len also controlled the dying minutes by despatching clearances across the cricket square - in the days of one “live” ball per match that was pricelessfor us oldies len badger and mick jones would be candidates for your last line
,,,,,,,,,and was half the footballer.Don’t think you can judge it on caps and honours, for example Gary Neville won more caps and far more honours won.
different eras though as for kyle no very much doubt he will come here next season but if we were to stay in the premier league i think we could get him for the 24/25 season i dont think money would be an issue hes made enough of that and knows full well we wouldnt be paying a big salaryI’m an oldie too & loved the likes of Badger, Woodward etc. But KW is light years ahead of them.
Ever since Pep said that about Kyle he seems to have gone up another notch. Was it a master stroke by a very good manager? He has also played in all the big games since too.Walker will likely be leaving Man City this summer. Pep recently said that while Walker is still one of the fastest players at the club, he no longer fits into their system of play and he is looking for a replacement.
It’s an interesting debate. Moore has captained a World Cup winning side. Winning the competition , never mind being captain is a relatively rare achievement across world football.Better than Bobby Moore?
Its also clear he still loves the Blades.Think he's the best ever Sheffield footballer ,he is world class
True and I'd take him in a second in one years time if we could do a deal with himIts also clear he still loves the Blades.

The won more trophies angle is somewhat skewed by the fact that in Moore's days there were no billionaire owners buying trophies. It’s an interesting debate. That said Walker has far more silverware and has been very close to winning the Euros and got to a World Cup semi final.
Walker has surpassed far more lauded England defenders (Ferdinand, Adams, Campbell, Butcher) but many simply wouldn’t recognise that, mainly because he hasn’t had his head bandaged up during a game or whatever. You could also argue that had more players been at his standard England would have won at least one tournament in the past 10 years.
Yes, aligning with the planet Alex is on.The planets are aligning…….
Best footballer Sheffield has produced, only rival is Gordon Banks.
Mate, I’ve heard it on good authority you can pick up players like Walker for £2-3m no problem in this place called “Overseas”. So he nowt special.Surely there’s someone willing to post that he’s “not good enough for us”?
Pep is a genius. Look at all the other superstar teams that fail to deliver. He presses buttons always to get the best out of his players- never just to bitch about them. Many may have tactical nous but managing big egos is a rare skillEver since Pep said that about Kyle he seems to have gone up another notch. Was it a master stroke by a very good manager? Easily the best player to ever come out of United’s youth system.
Gi’or. Telling me you wouldn’t move on for the chance to play at the elite level, win trophies every year and earn enough to probably set your grandkids’ kids up for life?
peps got an open cheque book thats what peps got all this adulation for him and city by the pundits and never ever a mention about the money hes had to spend on the worlds best footballers but thats the premier league and why it will always be dominated by the richest clubsPep is a genius.
