So these clowns have learned nothing from last year and now we're probably starting the season with a really pissed off manager. Every single thing they do is a fucking disaster
Basically that's exactly what I wanted to say. I really do wonder why they've made this latest call. Madness if it is as it seems.

I don't think it's coincidence that Brighton and Brentford can flip first team coaches without too much drama. The foundations they have beyond that role give huge support.
Have those clubs got someone between board and manager to oversee and direct policy enabling smooth transitions of power??

Kenny and Botty in 5....4....3...

Tbh he looked like an old man with Alzheimers who'd wondered how he'd woken up at the side of a football pitch whenever I saw him last season. I think this is the least surprising news we'll have all summer.
"Looked like an old man with Alzheimers" Jeez what a fucking comment , i cant believe other people have like this post as well

On Knilly , I've always been a bit perplexed regarding his stance, not on players but how he stands for the duration of the match with his knees a foot in front of his head , very strange .

Hecky isn't a blade, and if you listen to some folk on here, Warnock wasn't either. I just find it really boring personally, where's the innovation? doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same results isn't really a great idea.
I used to work with someone who Warnock went to school with.

He actually said that Warnock, like a lot of his age went to both United and Wednesday, he only nailed his colours once he had to - but he didn't really have the affiliation that was thought of.

How true this is, I do not know - the guy I am quoting is mid 70's, so actually he may be telling the truth, but yeah, who knows.

About Heckingbottom, I was always under the impression he was actually a pig first and foremost.

I really hope it's not Kniill to be replaced by Billy Sharp. Love Sharpy to bits but he's a total novice whereas Knilly has managed before and a wealth of coaching experience. As long as Wilder is ok with it that's something but I'm skeptical on it right now.

Sharp is 100% in for this. It will be him getting in, and it might not actually be a bad thing - he has pedigree.

The board want a young coach to be a natural successor to Wilder I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Billy Sharp ends up on the coaching staff this summer.

As stated previously, I'm into the "Bladey Bladey nonsense."

I'd love Sharp and Walker back around the place. Concern would be whether Wilder could handle individuals being more popular than he is and a potential ego clash.

None of us know EXACTLY who does what with these two or what another guy could bring so it's actually pretty pointless trying to guess what's next.

Unfortunately it's the summer and no world cup for a week and the test match isn't going well so I guess people can't help it!

However I will say changing coaches isn't particularly unique in long lasting management stints Alex Ferguson, Pep and Klopp did it...!

I know of a little gesture Alan Knill did to some friends of the family so I will always respect him for that let alone the successes we have had with him since 2016.

Although Killy is only 3 years older than Wilder he looks 20 years older.. it’s time he enjoyed a well earned retirement

How many people on this thread actually know anything about this situation?

See also: beyond what might be guessed, perhaps wrongly, from matchdays, how many people on this thread actually know that Knilly’s input, to training for example, was on the slide?

Some of the flak he took last season was inexcusable.

❤️ Knilly, me.

The only thing we know for sure is we don't know what’s going on, except speculation ...
and to add to that...

Danny Hill said it was a surprise to Knill, but that doesn't mean he wasn't ready to leave,
it was also reported that COH made the decision, but doesn't mean CW wasn't aware (or he even asked COH to do it) ... However
We saw last year COH want to go in a different direction, which backfired, but that doesn't mean they're not looking at the long game,
AK was the attacking mind in the coaching team, maybe they're just wanting a different approach instead of 1 upfront.

so many questions, but it will be an interesting couple of weeks.

According to Radio Sheffield , Ramos is also leaving ,, at the Fan Zone earlier this year Steve Rosen dropped big hint that Billy Sharp would return so I had no surprise when it was announced he was leaving Doncaster Rovers, so he is obviously a potential candidate for one position, Kyle Walker could also be in contention as a deal for player / coach roll ( I would also consider registering Sharp as a player, not with the intention of playing him 46 games but could be handy off the bench) , the suggestion on here for Monty also makes sense both as a long term replacement for Wilder ,, all 3 with Wilder boss , Walker defence, Monty midfield, Billy strikers ? ,, ,, personally still a bit ( alot) shocked , my first impression which hasn't yet left me is ,, oh no hope we not messing this up like we did last summer ,
If it is true ,,, thankyou Knilly

Laid Knill off as the owners don’t have to pay out his contract. Deal said that if we finished top half he would need paying off if they want him out. We finished 13th…

He has pedigree??? He doesnt at the top end of the game as an assistant manager or coach. Hes got exactly zero experience and to appoint him would be madness. We view ourselves as a top 25 club in the worlds best football league so let's start acting like one.
