After the Newcastle game i posted a thread.."Wilder gets his just desserts". The next day i felt such a twat. My knee jerk reaction to Chris dropping Moose and Goldie was fucking awful. The man has been a revelation to this club and i was way out of order. Maybe i should have waited until the alcohol wore off.. If he reads this by any chance, then Chris....sorry.

The question is, have you ever done the same thing ?

I wouldn't call today knee jerk. I thought we'd lose at half time. I wasn't enjoying the match so I switched it off and decided to check the result later.

I have a lot of stress in my life, so when the thing that gives me enjoyment is causing me more stress, I walk away.

I felt better for it and came back to a pleasant surprise.

Yes I have. After the 1-1 at home to Millwall last season. I proper lost my rag & thought we’d proper blown it & was furious.

Thing is, football is a very emotional game - that's why VAR will never work, because it kills the emotions. We all say rash things, particularly after a defeat, but we should always look at the bigger picture. When the chips are down, or bollocks appear to have been dropped, that's exactly the time when we should be there to pick the players and management team up. Take today for instance, Didsy had another mare in front of goal, but his all round play is superb. He was clearly feeling down when he was substituted today, but we sang his name loud and proud. Hopefully that will help him to keep his head up. Wilder is paid to make management decisions and he knew today was far more suited to Moose and Didsy than the Newcastle game was. He made a judgement call and if the Newcastle keeper hadn't made a fantastic save from McBurnie's header we could well have comfortably won that game and all be saying what a fantastic judgement call it was.

Very small margins in the prem mate.
