Yeah he was, didn't do anything for them. If he was going to return to England I'd doubt he'd go to Wednesday

well if he doesn't get anymore offers then i can't see why he wouldn't go to wednesday, if he really wants to play football (barely...lol)

hold on il comment in a minute

a pissin pigs just flown into my window im of to chek it :D

He wouldn't be a good signing anyways,

He showed in PL he was lazy and no longer up to standard. I can't see anything that would have changed that.

I think he is past it anyway. Like Robbie said he is lazy.

I can just see Disco Pat in legends or the blue ball. Maybe he's heard about the new weatherspoons and that's swung it for him?

If we got him it would be an awesome signing

We are definatly not gunna get him though

Wages will be extreme

Good player knocking on abit now but then again championship is full of oldies.

Although he will cost owls a fortune in wages.

Same with us trying to get Graveson.

Yeah id imagine Wednesday's 26 million debt would increase if he signed dramatically.

The thing you got to think of is, why is he going to Wednesday's if he is still decent? Surely he could get a Premiership club or another team in a top league.

Great little piece from the Guardian

In Where Did It All Go Wrong news, Patrick Kluivert will hit rock bottom when he signs for Sheffield Wednesday (ninth in the Championship last year!) later this week. Suddenly those golden days at AC Milan and Barcelona seem a long way away

The only plus I can see of signing Kluivert would be, possible extra bums on seats, and more merchandise being sold. I honestly can't see him bringing anything to the playing side.

From Sky Sports.......

Patrick Kluivert has decided not to accept Sheffield Wednesday's offer of a trial.

Owls boss Brian Laws announced earlier this week that he had invited the Dutchman to train with his squad.

Kluivert has been restricted by injuries in recent seasons and was only able to make five starts for PSV Eindhoven last term.

He is looking to play more regularly and is thrilled to have received the offer from Sheffield Wednesday.

But the 30-year-old is not planning to join The Owls and will instead consider other options.

"I am flattered with the interest," he told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

"However, a move to Sheffield Wednesday is not in my future plans.

"I will wait and see what happens. My agent will show me all the options I have and after that I will make a decision."

but wendy are a big club pattrick, why wont you sign for them???

They maybe "big" but they dont have the big money. :)

Patrick Kluivert has decided he would rather be torn apart by wild dogs than go within 100 yards of Hillsborough.

How ironic it's the day our season tickets go back on sale :D

Every year wendesday try to sign a 'big named striker' just to get more season ticket holders. This year they have pushed the boat out with three strikers Billy Sharp, Gregor Rasiak and Patrick Kluivert.

I guarantee if they are in the same league next year they will do the same thing.
