Think he's at the seaside for the weekend. Good job his lad turned out a Blade, but I don't think he needed much persuading.
Absolutely correct in most respects, except that most of my weekend was in Hull visiting the young Keith Edward.

Brid was just a day out ;)

This might be of interest to our forum hosts :)

When I was with my ex, we named our chocolate Labrador "Ruby". The missus liked the name when I suggested it but at the time she didn't know it was due to the rhyming slang for Curry... chosen because of Tony Currie

I believe there's quite a few little 'Blade's' knocking about.

The wife's side of the family have a habit of giving their kids daft names, the latest additions being "Jett" and "Larke"... fucking Larke! I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl.

I am currently battlin with my missus to call our boy who is due the end of August, "Shoreham".

I have managed to convince the mother-in-law and other members of the family it's a nice unique name. Wife isn't convinced yet, but i've got another 3 months to work at it.

You can always tell your missus that it's better than 'BramHall'. If not then just settle for 'John' ?

The only problem with that is when we move to attercliffe next year someone will want to know why you named him after a chippie, an off licence or student flats in later life. :)
