Here’s a question I don’t know the answer too. How many Saturday 3pm kick offs have we had against Leeds And the pigs in the last 30 years?
my guess is you could count them on one hand and still have a few fingers left.

Seems daft that even with no fans we have a very early kick off against dirties.

It would be nice if the first Yorkshire PL derby in 17/18 years had a better billing.

v Leeds

April 1965. Lost 3-0.

February 1966. 1-1. Joe Shaw dropped to subs bench and after that he retired from playing. Highlights of match shown on ATV

November 1967. Hodgy hurt in 9th minute after stopping a Lorimer shot. Woody took over in goal and performed heroics, received a standing ovation at end of the match. Mick Hill scored the only goal of the match

August 1975. Lost 2-0

March 1985. Won 2-1, Mel Eves scoring both goals. Leeds fans doing damage in BLUT during half time.

Feb 1987. Scoreless draw

October 1987. 2-2. We were winning 2-0 with 10 minutes left

v Wendy

All the home games in the 1960s were played on the Saturday (1961-62, 62-63, 63-64, 64-65, 65-66, 66-67 and 67-68.

October 1970. Won 3-2

No Steel Derby League matches between 1971 and 1979

April 1980. 1-1 draw

No Steel Derby League matches between 1980 and 1991.

I think the 1-1 draw in October 1993 was the last time that was played on a 3pm kick off on Saturday?

Weren’t both games v pigs in the 05-06 promotion season 3pm kick offs?
And the leeds away game that season come to think of it. The home game V leeds was a night game.

It depends if you're from Sheffield or Barnsley? If you can tell me then I can answer your question.
