we should be going all out for gilchrist especially as he can cover both right back and centre back no brainer we should be all over this one now

100% agree. We are surely a good option for him and Chelsea as well. Gives us the flexibility to go from a four to a three at the back.

I must admit, Im not in on who is ITK or not.. I have absolutely no idea who he is / how or why he is ITK / if he actually is ITK / why people give so much credence to what he says?

Seems to me to be another one who people refuse to believe any good news from but fawn over any bad news.

I could be completely wrong as he may actually be ITK. What I will say is that in his Pic on Twitter he looks a right cheesy bastard.

im sure wilder wants to play 4 at the back but it seems his hands are tied with recruits but gilchrist would be a very good defensive right back and if anel gets back to owt like his best after last seasons sulkathon they would be a very solid pairing on that right side

That's nothing against Darren Smith but there is no other club in the world that releases information via a retired accountant/fan in Spain. If the owner is happy with a fan releasing stuff that essentially affects the day to day running/business of the club it shows why he has been totally incapable of finding a viable and credible investor.

With regards the transfer, it concerns me it has taken essentially 7 months (knew we were down in January) to sign 5 players when we have released nearly 20. With our approach to signing it probably will take weeks to even get close to the next man up.

It's a laughing stock the pace we move in the transfer market. It's meant to be the biggest summer in years with meticulous planning and scouting to allow a huge rebuild. We are operating like we are essentially reaction g day to day. It proves the whole infrastructure of the club is not fit for purpose really for one at the level it purports to be.

The problem is in the absence of any club strategic communication plan the likes of Darren Smith will continue to fill it. You have to hope that new owners will come in and consign him to the dustbin.

Until that happens he continues to have free reign to sow seeds of doubt and cause for concern that ultimately impacts on club reputation. No competent and credible organisation would allow this to prevail. It seems PA is content for this to continue which ultimately reflects on his stewardship

The managers job is hard enough without your transfer policy being leaked to an overseas accountant with no media training or accountability.

Totally agree. It’s only exacerbating the discontent towards the ownership and how we are operating.

As Deadbat said earlier, it’s insane that the club is using a fan, in Spain, as a proxy to communicate information to fans. Even then, we don’t know if the information is true.

The comms from the club is absolutely appalling. I’m not blaming those that work in this team at the club, but those who are making the decision to bypass the official channels and do it in this backhanded way.

It’s embarrassing that a business with well in excess of £100m in revenue, is operating in this way.

Someone on X asked the Girona Gobshite the obvious questions as to why he wasn’t coming. Didn’t seem to want to respond with any kind of explanation. So we are left in the dark to speculate.

He’s a real tosser this bloke wants to say a lot but in reality says fuck all. Wtf doesn’t he just shut his mouth . Everyone knows he’s a mouthpiece for PA . Wilder looked totally dejected last night , Girona gobshite doesn’t help

I criticised others weeks ago for their stance and said I'd at least wait until August before being concerned.

I bet it's to do with money or another offer that he thinks is better. There's no evidence of a failed medical but here say and the same was said on McCullam. You never know, it could still happen but seems unlikely now.

On a general basis I would suspect that most of our remaining business will be loans and these often end up done nearer the end of the window sadly or into the season. Maybe Cooper will arrive if Osula goes.
