Playing devils advocate but perhaps it’s because he recognises that they’ve both got huge potential and he’s determined to see them realise it?

Both have played their best football (by a mile) under Wilder. Unfortunately Brooks is still prone to large fluctuations in performance levels but overall he's a useful player. Wilder's man management of both of them has been characteristically fantastic. It's a huge strength of his. See also Tom Cannon for another notable example this season.

Nah, i don't see anybody "worth moving to" will come in for either this window.
They're not going to leave for a Championship club and unless someone daft like Newcastle did with Osula come in, I just don't see it - "yet"

Seriki is. I remember his interview after he scored that he mentioned he prayed to god for the goal.

The interview is here. He sounds like a great lad, really down to earth

No wonder wilder doesnt/didnt like him

"Femi you coming down banner cross for a few wi me sydie & blaster "

"Nah boss church on a sunday "

Just as Riedewald a defender that I really enjoyed watching in the Ajax youth, very technically sound. Unfortunately, Hoever left the academy way to early and after that his time at PSV was very dissapointing and lacked quality from what I could see.

Not sure how he developed at Stoke, but at least the potential is there.

(From Not the Top 20) Ki-Jana Hoever (RB) - [Wolves - Sheffield United] - Loan

Blades need cover at right-back, with the only available option, Femi Seriki, having played through a knee injury. Seriki (22) has been outstanding since returning to the side, though, and on the face of it, Hoever could be arriving to play second fiddle. We think it’ll be more of a rotation situation.

The 23-year-old offers a different toolkit to Seriki. He isn’t explosive and won’t carry the ball at pace, but he is neater with it, more comfortable in possession, and arguably more switched-on defensively.

The last time Hoever played regularly at this level was in 2023/24, when he scored four goals and added five assists in 35 starts for Stoke. That is strong output – but possibly something of a purple patch, particularly given his subsequent loan spell with Auxerre in Ligue 1, where he managed one goal and two assists across 30 appearances. The Dutchman could be a good option for Wilder, but at the moment, the starting berth isn’t broken.

Hopefully this means we can dispense with the services of Shackleton. I can only see this guy being back up to Seriki but good enough to push Seriki for a starting place or used in rotation which is a good thing for both.

Hamer, Riedewald, Chong (kind of) and now Hoever...

A few years ago some cast Wilder as signing only British players.

Now it seems some wish to work a religious angle into his 'favourites'.

I can't wait to see what some dream up next to try and tarnish him with.

How do you pronounce his surname? Does it rhyme with whenever?

Could see a Shakira follow up to our waka waka chant last year.

Whenever, hoever

He's 'unprofessional and classless'.

You beat your local rivals, and your manager is a proper fan, so celebrates like one. Most supporters would love that, but some of our up their own arse fans, think it "childish'.

Any stick, however small, broken, or not even sticklike, will be used by the anti-Wilders.

wolves fans hated him stoke fans loved him so it looks 50/50 whether he will be a success with us but what it does give us is a bit of breathing space for seriki we can use him sensibly now weve got back up for him wilder has created a similar situation as with mcallum and burrows on the left
