I think all the credit can go to Nigel Adkins for this. Maybe the only criticism that i can have so far is that he was a tad slow to address the problems at the back, and selected a poor side for Gillingham away, but on the positive he swiftly recognised the problem and brought in Edgar and dropped the players who he shouldn't have picked in the first place.

I guess he has watched a lot of our performances last season, as we seem well drilled going forward, seem to have a decent plan and execute it well, and look like a totally different side to last season.
 
After two injuries early doors we have done very well indeed to put in what sounds a terrific performance and get a great result, keep Brayford in the DJ box on a Sunday morning ;)
 
Sounded great tonight - Sammon and Sharp already forming such a good partnership. 2 up front...Adkins rules!! UTB

The other commentator said that even the Peterborough fans will admit that Sheff Utd had a look of a promotion contending team to them. It ended up being quite a comfortable match.

Good days ahead... If we're the real deal then Bramalll Lane will be buzzing and a real fortress this season.
 



If Keith's happy we must have been good. It looks like Adkins is knocking them into shape. Great win that.

See as said on a different keith thread, yes keith can seem negative but come on after the final yr of wilson & clough. Also the disaster of weir no wonder like us he can be a bit pessmistic but I always thought he was a underrated pundit because he doesn't mince his words will say when he's happy & nearly takes radio Sheffield of air when hes angry/ frustrated
