Can't quite agree with the criticism, but I can see the points you make about Edwards are shared by others.
I've picked out the above from your post as for me, this problem has existed in L1 days, and since we came into this league.
Some fans call it "we've been sussed" - but what ever it is called, we don't seem to have a management/coaching plan to solve the problem.
For two and a half seasons we have generally dominated games against the opposition (we are apparently the 1st team this season to out possess Leeds) yet we fail to capitalise.
A number of said we over play in and around the opposition box - that's fine if it eventually works, but we haven't solved this issue at all.
Keith alludes to getting it in early - and for me it's about mixing it up. He is though absolutely 100% correct about forwards not knowing when or where to go as we fanny about a lot of the time.
This problem is down to the management to solve - one that, at the moment, they don't seem capable of.
We should have won ANOTHER game yesterday, not lost 2 points - it's frustration beyond frustration now for me.

The point about Keith is that he finds a gripe and then keeps banging on about it. He never explained why the balls weren’t going in. He just said “get it in early”.
He watches us play a lot and he knows better than most that we do try to get the ball in early, but also when that ball is right. We’re a patient side that doesn’t like to concede possession, partly because we commit a lot of players forward that were vulnerable on the counter.
Keith doesn’t explain this. He just says that was wrong and he’s right.
I get that he was a striker, a poacher like billy but we’re playing sides like Ipswich that are fighting for their lives with men behind the ball.
I’d love him to point out different options
The early ball is not the only ball, but when it does go in I’m guessing that it’s got a high chance of success, hence why we try it and why teams fight to stop it
Completely agree about strikers not knowing when it’s going in though. But it’s almost something they have to deal with and be ready for when it does go in
