Being rumoured on Twitter that kean Bryan, young Man City player on loan at Oldham last season is on his way to us.

Left sided centre back.

What's worrying is that he was apparently going to cost Rangers £2.5m.

If he costs us that, he's not just coming in as back up for O'Connell...

At least if JOC does go then it appears we are at least going to make an attempt to replace him. Will be pretty gutted though tbh

Could he not be a Stevens replacement? Has played in midfield, maybe not averse to getting forward.

Or just to compete with Stevens? A player who can cover LWB and LCB would be ideal.

He’s half cast, has weird hair and is between 21-25. Is he the man that the grounds keeper has supposedly seen?

Rangers supposedly pulled plug on 2.5 mil ,3 year contract after medical

We seem to be putting pieces of a jigsaw in place to actually start games with a 4 at the back.

CW played 4 at Northampton, but still liked to push the fullbacks on.

The modern game is about switching formations - If this lad signs we seem to have the ability to start games with a 4.

Interesting development with this Bryan (possibly) and Egan signings.

UTB

Lad is a left footed CB isn't he? Can cover in DM or at a big push at LB but certainly not a LWB. We have no adequate cover for JOC but I can;t imagine someone would turn down first team football at Rangers and then be happy to be in our reserves. So.....

No adequate cover - int Stearman left-footed? And a ball player?

According to wiki

Able to operate as a centre-back or box-to-box midfield, Bryan has been praised for his vision and passing ability, as well as for his long-range shots and penalty-taking.[3]

So Fleck’s off.
