Albion hitman set to go? EXCLUSIVE

Brighton striker Colin Kazim-Richards could be set for a dream move to Sheffield United, writes Richard Cawley.
Clubcall understands the Blades are considering bidding for the pacy 19-year-old.

Kazim-Richards only joined the Seagulls last summer from Bury but grabbed six goals in 25 league starts.
United boss Neil Warnock knows that the young forward is raw but believes he has the potential to be a huge success at Bramall Lane.

Brighton would struggle to hold onto Kazim-Richards if a decent bid came in for his services and would demand at least £500,000.

I hope not despite him being the only good player in a poor brighton team.

When we played Brighton last season I was watching him warm up at half time. Not that I usually watch players at half time, but he was doing some awesome tricks and flicks, and was also firing in some fierce shots. Me and Phill were saying that we couldn't believe this guy wasn't playing as he looked head and shoulders above the rest of the Brighton team. Sure enough he came on and scored against us.

I'm not sure he's Premiership standard, but he looked a tidy player.

No thanks we need someone of a better caliber than him.

he's good but not premiership class

how do we know until he's played in the premiership? it's just like saying paul ifill might play better in the premiership.

ok then i dont think he will be good enough to play at premiership level yet becuase hes bin at a poor team and he is still young no doubt he will be better later on in life

Actually, they got to the FA Cup Final in 2004 which was when they still had Ifill, Cahill and co, they got relegated in May after they had to sell all of their good players.

Axel Smeets and Bobby ford have never played in the premier league but we know they wouldnt cut it.

I think he would be a good signing, he's only 19 so he has plently of time on his hands. I swear some of you want us to have a squad with an average age of 40. Build for the future and not just the present i say.

I agree slighlty!

Still need the experience though we need a balance of both in the squad!

HaHa

Kazim Richards , what a joke

cant even believe your considering signing him

Your a bloody premiership club, you should be aiming higher than this and i think you all know it

I do agree with Sharpy to an extent about building for the future, but surely there are far better young players out there that would want to move to a newly promoted premiership club, which even in my eyes, a rival from across the city, has bags of potential with a excellent board and chairman, newly improved stadium n overall good facilities.

If you want to survive, you need to start making some serious signings, and quick!

i didn't say anything about not building for the future.

Bobby ford was a good player when he was first at the lane.

We havn't seen kazim richards enough to make a judgement on him really. We'd have to wait and see is what im saying. (thats if we do actually sign him)
