Well it sounds like he is one of the seven being interviewed, bladesmad is talking it up :p
Tweets coming from his wife

"Reg Karl going to Sheffield I really don't know sorry can't be any use love the comments though !" that is the tweet I think! that's got people talking ;)

Well its something, to update and chat about!

Surely that's just a response to people asking if he is? Rather than her saying he is.

It's nowhere near close to her suggesting he is.

Depends whether Reg is short for regarding or a person ?

Correct use of the abbreviation for regarding is re :)

Although the strict latin translation is "in the matter of" apparently.

Yes, yes I am bored

It's definitely her responding to questions about him coming to us, but that she doesn't know.

Reg Karl is a 16 year old girl from Sao Tome and Principe.
I can't believe she's even under consideration to be honest. Have we really stooped so low!?
Still, she's a cheap option I suppose and might be willing to work with the current backroom staff.
I bet she's never praised Leeds or Palace fans either, so certainly wouldn't be the worst option.

How in the fuck-eyed world can someone read that Tweet and think "aHAH!! That CLEARLY means he's being interviewed for the job! I'd better start a thread on Bladesmad about it!"

Too late, someone has already posted it on there. Better luck next time ;)

That is what I have gathered from posts on there, ... I ain't into this gossip lark... well she didn't deny it :p

I have to admit now, whether this is true or not. I am all for Karl Robinson, my number 1 choice now McCall is happy where he is

Can you believe he will be managing a club in the Champions League? Also did you really think he would give that up for managing the shite we have in League 1?

also makes you wonder why murphy left the same situation

as if we could pay him anywhere near what hes on with the donuts

The donuts get crowds that are a third or quarter of ours. Bizarre as it may seem, we probably can pay him more than Motherwell (as no doubt we are paying Murphy more).

Basically, Celtic apart, Scottish football is crap.

They're in the Europa League, not the champions league and will probably get dumped out in the in the second or third qualifying round by the Romanian cup winners.

Mrs Robinson, you're trying to seduce me.

what a load of old shite. Even he's out of our league!! Not that I want him!!

Maybe so.

Still would you want to give up that to go manage in the 3rd division?

Well, in this season's Europa League, Scotland's reps were Dundee United (who went out in the 3rd qualifying round to Dynamo Moscow 7-2 on aggregate; the home leg having a less than stunning crowd of under 10,000) and Hearts and Motherwell - those 2 going out in the play off round (effectively the 4th qualifying round) to Liverpool and Levante respectively - the former managing a crowd of 15,000 and the latter just over 6000.

In other words last season's Scottish entrants managed only one European tie each and none of the home legs of those ties managed to get a crowd higher than a bog standard United 3rd Division game. I see little glamour or wealth in any of that. So, yes, McCall may well see a higher paid United job as a step up.

I'm not quite sure where this big push for Robinson originated, and more to the point what actually merits it.

He's had 3 seasons at Franchise FC, with some serious financial backing compared with what he would get at BDTBL, and has failed on all 3 occasions to get them promoted, last time even falling short of the play-offs.

Given his achievements at this level, with a sparsity of resources worse than ours, and finishing above the Dons this last season, I would think Russell Slade deserves more 'bigging up' than Robinson!
