Juniors: Buying Play-Off Tickets in Season Ticket Places Online - How?

Tried to buy play-off tickets in our season ticket places today.

Mine came up just fine - but I wanted to buy one for Foulkes Jr Sr too.

Tried to link him as Family and Friends. Don't really get this system but tried my best. I have his Customer Number but he's never bought any tickets so he doesn't seem to be known to them(?). Get the message: Not accepting new registrations till 3rd May.

Tried various other avenues of attack but no luck.

I can't get to the ground and can't call during working hours. Have sent an email but I expect to be told the system is working fine which is what happened last time.

So: can anyone please give me an Idiot's Guide to Buying Tickets Online for Juniors. Is such a thing even possible?

(Say what you like about Blades fans but they all must have IQs of at least 200 to have managed to get to the ground in the first place.)

Don't think there are any general sales at the mo WHF. Might be wrong but it's closed until season ticket holders take or leave their options. Not got mine yet, will try tomorrow.

I bought for Family HB this morning, on General Sale... I presume seats of season ticket holders not available until the take-up period is past.

We'd like to go in the Family Stand but they are not on general sale at all I don't think.

Just had the idea of pretending I'd forgotten the password and having it emailed to me but it said his details weren't recognised. So he needs to register, but they're not accepting registrations.
 
He will need to provide your number as someone who can buy on his behalf. It's so long ago that we all registered and linked up customer numbers I don't remember the registration process, but if they won't allow him to register that will be a problem. Can't think why they would do that, but hey it's the Blades ticket office so who knows what they're thinking.

I think getting someone else to call or go down with your STs/customer numbers is your best bet.

Did you check under "My Reserved Cup Tickets"?
 
You night have to set him up a separate account. If you email the ticket office I always find them very helpful and they'll advise you what to do in future

Thanks. Have emailed - but last time this sort of thing happened the reply was something like I'd imagined the whole thing and the system was fine.

Might be able to rearrange things and get there tonight.

Did you email back asking them to explain how the system works so you could try it and prove them wrong, or right?

Last time it wasn't really a case of that. They basically told me what I said had happened hadn't happened. When I persisted in sating it had they ignored that email

Anyway got down today by abandoning work - and there was a decent queue. Well out of the door at any rate.

And Foulkes Jr Sr's account is now linked.
