Judge us at 10 games

The squad is leaner and meaner this season. We now have genuine competition for places and we shouldn't have the same problem we had last season if one of our important players gets injured.

Moore/Henderson
Baldock/Freeman
Stevens/Johnson(and even Lafferty)
O'Connell, Basham, Egan/Stearman (Wright)
Fleck, Norwood/Coutts (Lundstram)
Duffy/Woodburn
Sharp, McGoldrick/Clarke/Washington

Admittedly some of these are inter-changeable. For example, if Duffy got injured, I could see a midfield trio of Coutts, Norwood and Fleck with Fleck playing in the advanced role (as he did for 60 odd minutes v Swansea). The only area of any concern is up front at the moment with both Billy and Dave in great form, but Clarke's form has deserted him and Washington clearly needs game time.

I agree with this. The word 'smarter' hitting the nail on the head.

We seem to be winning games differently this season. Last year we'd dominate games but just lack that bit extra to get us over the line. In the games where we played poorly, we virtually always lost.

This season, we've added something to our game, and we're picking up points in games I'm certain we wouldn't have last season.
