Oh yes Lydon.....that IS the illegal way to gamble, I hadn't thought of that. If he's in deep with 'Far-Eastern betting Syndicates' about when the first throw in is and that sort of crap then, yes, he could be sacked - but we would have heard about that because its too serious to keep it in the Club.

Surely he can't be that daft..............

Ive got a really good lame too fame actually. Back in the day we had a lads weekend in Birmingham and ended up in a sauna on Hagley Rd. One of the 'ladies' said her nephew was in Musical Youth.

that just came back to me in a moment of clarity :)

I think, in fact I know, that you know the answer to the last question!!

No new shocks and surprises with these "footballers" .. far too much money, far too much time.

What next? Gamblers, Drug Users, Alcoholics, Rapists, Paedophiles and footballers???

Another Everton connection - mind you he didn't bet all his own money -just his career :p Sorry about the pig pic - at least its b/w. Footnote - pig fans used to have a thing about a white central stripe on the shirt as being unlucky - was for this bloke and his mates.

It's been touted before about Baxters gambling habits, so that doesn't surprise me. However, I'm almost certain he has also failed a drugs test

If he had gambling problems that wouldn't get him directly into trouble unless he'd bet on football. And if he had fallen foul of that, then it would have been announced straight away.

Whereas a suspension pending an announcement can only be drugs and a hiatus awaiting the B sample.

Has the PFA had to support any incest or cannibalism cases yet ?

Yeah I said pretty much the same to the lad, he did tell me that baxter has been guilty of some pretty despicable behaviour towards people who were his friends

I was lucky enough to be in Sydney for work, just for a week, a couple of summers ago. While I was there, there was a local media panic about a shark attack just up the coast. Among the other talking heads on the news discussing this, there was a chap advising Sydneyers that there was no need to be concerned. He went something like this: "Not only are you X% more likely to die in a plane crash, data suggests you also have a statistically higher chance of being bitten by Luis Suarez than being bitten by a shark". Made me smile :)

Had a shop sales email from United this afternoon. It looks like the pic of the player in the away kit is Jose, but theyve chopped his head off from the chin up
