Do you really think that? Would he have been a success or would he have simply demonstrated his lack of ability in our team instead. We have a habit of over-hyping our youngsters and there's no guarantee that a few good performances for the u23 would have translated into senior goals...

If the move had been to Stoke or Palace or somewhere it would have been more understandable.
