Hardworking centre forward with an improving goalscoring record. There have been suggestions about a big striker signing. For us he would be a big signing, he'd cost over £1m.

Totally underwhelming signing if true.....if this comes off I will become very concerned about our recruitment policy and desire to push on and consolidate our Championship status...

I concur with this entirely

...............We NEED at least one centre half and we are talking about another forward?

Don't concede, don't lose.

Would be a decent partner for Billy and huge improvement on Clarke and Evans.

It's a yes from me!!

Thank you Nigel.

Will you be staying at Burton this summer or are you and Johnny going to set up home somewhere else?

Well then young man (to quote my old man) - a centre half is exactly what we need. We are going to score one goal and then shut up shop and play 4-6-0.
Hope that answers your query?

You do realise he doesn't score very often don't You? 12 last season was good... but that's about it.

A few decent Championship clubs have previously been linked with him.

Thought he was signing for Wolves for daft money.

Hope we sign him as he's got a fun surname

Would welcome this but can't see it. Good young player, would give us a younger target man with Championship experience. I just think United would have to part with a larger fee than they would be willing to.

Played 43 games for an average championship side (Preston) last season and scored 12 goals. That's not a bad return for a 'target man'.

Don't think Clarke or Hanson will manage 12 next season.
I admit that was a good haul but 3 in 29 the season before. He's played 20 in league 1 for Vale too scoring 4.
Rob Hulse is one of my all time favourites. One hell of a target man and he also knew where the net was.
That type of player does cost a bomb admittedly.
