Good luck to Flecky.

When he had the seizure against Reading it seemed to take the wind from his sails.

He’s played against the best teams at the top level.

He’s not had a bad career by any stretch, his time with us being the highlight.

Hope he can get some enjoyment out of his final years.

Okay then. "Quick science lesson for you and I'll do it for free 😊" is fairly condescending and sarcastic from yourself isn't it? Especially when you follow it up with utter nonsense 🤷‍♂️
And why exactly do you think I chose to use sarcasm at that point?

It may or may not be epilepsy. If it is there are a wide range of causes and severities. He's only had two seizures (that we know of) so would not seem to be an extreme case. Whilst it seems serious a full on seizure can be recovered from fairly quickly and it is a condition that does not necessarily mean he wont be able play any more football. I was at Reading when he collapsed during the game and he was waving to fans as he left the pitch. Get well soon Flecky.

Non epileptic seizures are also common.

Good to know he's alright. At times for us he was unplayable, just a joy to watch. I know (rightly) people will always talk about THAT free kick, but I think my favourite Fleck goal was at the Emirates. Technically difficult, but he hit it so sweetly. He was also part of one of the best midfields I've ever seen at the lane. Coutts-Fleck-Duffy, the holy trinity.
