Really pleased with this signing. In the two games against Weeds last season he dominated the midfield in the first game. At BDTBL he comes off the bench and turns the game with his set pieces. When fit, we will have to wait for that as hes hardly kicked a ball for a while, he has the class to be one of the best in the championship.

It's regrettable we didn't get him years ago but he's always seemed like one who could end up here

Best signing of the window, crucially a permanent, and the contract length is probably correct

Looking forward to watching him, he's a silky player and will raise us a level

The season has been over for months. Next season is almost certainly going to be mid table consolidation given the change in parachute payment amounts. There is fuck all point in signing someone of his age for that length of deal when the status of the club means anything he does on the pitch is going to be utterly worthless. Invest the money in players with room to grow and upside instead. This last 12 hours has probably done more damage to the club than the entire summer window
