I wouldn't.lose any sleep over him if we didn't sign him , 31 yo and half his appearances were for Blackburn till 2022 and half his goals for them too. I'd rather we put the money towards a couple of lads to strengthen the team/squad for next season

I think we're just being included in the same rumour over and over again, I'm sure there's a level of interest but we've not been chasing him all January.

Rangers will wait until the last minute as although they want shut of him - they also want a permanent deal. This will be done with us, Wrexham or Derby on Monday I bet. I suspect the agent is continuing to feed the media as much as possible to get best deal for his lad.

I think that's why there probably hasn't been much movement this JTW.

Realistically we aren't going to get in the play offs, even if some of our fans still think we will, and we aren't going to go down so any business has to be with next year in mind either through permanent deals or loans with an option/obligation in our favour.

That market will almost certainly be far smaller than say the loan market.

What we absolutely should not be doing is bringing in expensive loans for the next few months. It's an utter waste of resources. Especially when we have at least 2 players for every position once the injuries and suspensions subside.

If so we’ll need at least one more perhaps on loan(s) ?
