Man U youth talents usually end up being alright to be fair....

Suspect Barnsley might have the edge though as I think they have had a couple on loan last year.

On Radio Sheff, Wilder more or less confirmed he'd made an enquiry

Hopefully Nick Cox will have some influence on his destination.

Either way, it appears it will be confirmed where he's headed sooner rather than later.

Just been collecting some quotes on him in case we sign him.........................undoubtedly the most positive set of quotes about a player I have ever collected. A few Man U fans think he should be in their first team and would have been if he hadn't picked up an injury earlier in the season.

Got a sad feeling that Barnsley may be more attractive to him purely based on their league status and a chance they could be in the play offs come May. He would surely be on the same money as he is at Man U with it being a loan deal.

But we live in hope and in Chris we trust :)

Someone wants to mail him pictures of the local lasses, might help make his mind up. That or the coal shit sarnies for lunch.

If you look at some of the tweets from his manutd following supporters, they are genuinely gutted he's leaving.
They must see something in him.
I'm just confused at where he'll play if he is signing for us.

Really hope this one comes off
Other promotion teams from league one have took advantage of this kind of signing

I'd look to strengthen both wing back slots as with our formation these positions are key

If it happens then surely he won't be a bench warmer with the way man u fans rate him.

We're so much more an attractive proposition to potential targets now that we play some cracking stuff as well as sitting nicely on top of the pile...

Sh*t on, Sh*t on, Sh*t on the..........

maybe chris thinking of lafferty as a challenge to jack at left centre back and riley as wing back plus were gonna get injuries so would be useful

As much as he has been steady I really think this is one position where we can really strengthen and bring more balance and threat to the team - I would expect him to be back up for Joe Riley if he signs or LB in a change of formation - UTB's

Reading how highly he's rated, would love to get him for rest if season, him to fall in love with Wilder like we all have, and join us on a perm int summer, probably already good enough for the championship by sounds.

Unlikely that we'd get him on a permanent. Best case scenario is he comes for the rest of the season, he does well and we keep him on loan next season as well as (hopefully) a championship club.

Most right footed LB I've ever seen, doesn't seem to make sense. Those clips are frustrating to watch, has to stop, take a touch and turn inside every time when he could've whipped in a left footed cross.

Agree with this.
Think Mourinho will probably want him playing regular football at Championship level next season.

Little rumour that he might be off to Donny on loan

If correct, I suspect he'll do very well for them. I'm still surprised it didn't work out for him here, given the formation we're playing, and given that all of his celebrated attributes upon joining were related to his attacking ability.

Anyway, as above, until Maxster says Joe Riley is a done deal I'm not believing a word of it. Fingers crossed though, he looks very handy.
