I said when we had Harry, we didn't need a Premier League Centre Half, which it seemed he would eventually become. In the third division you need a centre half to be suitable for this division and perhaps the one above. You need a Centre Half at this level to be between Neil Collins (Shit) and Harry Maguire (Really Good)
JOC is a decent enough player and probably sits somewhere in the middle between Shit and Really Good. He seems to have more pace than Harry and perhaps he's a little more 'Athletic' when he is being turned, whereas Harry was a little less mobile in the turn, but physically stronger and naturally read the game better.
At a young age, Harry was also stepping up as a leader, certainly of the back four.
In a division/ team where Basham is more than comfortable at Centre Half, JOC stands out a little as a consistent and strong performer, but in the few games i've seen, he doesn't seem to be showing the leadership and organisational abilities of Jake Wright, for example.
I'd like to see Wright and JOC forming a solid partnership as 2 of the 3 Centre Halves in this division, i think we'll see JOC improve as a result and the third Centre Half being EEL or Basham.
We're developing a blended back 3 at the moment, JOC is certainly holding his own, but i'd also like to see more of Wilson if he can start to force his way into the side. I've not seen anything of him, so don't have any idea what his attributes are.
