That was because he knew I was sitting just behind crunching Glacier Fruits, ready to wind him up about how the "Single most qualified person on earth..." quote would be on t-shirts and in the club shop by the end of the day.

No not at all, he just looked a bit down and did in the rest of the interview. But if it's true he had a 5 hour lunch break with Adkins then I'm talking out of my arse. Sorry guys

I was wondering what kind of place it was where they let you in. I'd hoped for somewhere classy, but evidently not. Did you have to leave your rucksack at reception :-)
 
We have co-owners at present but it seems obvious that over a period the prince will take full control. In the meantime the prince will be the dominant co-owner because the future of the club affects him more. That is my logic anyway.

It was actually rather plush, as you'd expect of somewhere that has Fox's Glacier Fruits in the lobby.

I was easily the most casually dressed person there (in the true sense, not the hooly sense), which with a scruff like James Shield in attendance was quite an achievement. However, I was not barred entry just because I looked like I'd come "straight off a building site".

I left the rucksack at home, although my Alphabet Business Concern tote bag did nothing in the way of making me look like I was meant to be there.

And nobody had a problem with my wallet chain.

Did you think phipps looked pissed off about clough going ?
 
I've just been informed that Jim Phipps had the Arizona (BBQ chicken, crispy bacon, sliced red onions & roasted garlic) and his wife had the Boston (Slow cooked pulled pork, onion marmalade, roast red peppers, mozzarella, slaw & chives). This might shed some light on Phipps' discomfort at the press conference.

Yes it did. Kevin McCabe impressed in that interview. He was as open as anyone has been and spoke with a sense of purpose. Yes, I know we've heard it all before but I've never subscribed to the view that KM does not have SUFC front and centre in his heart and wallet.
