The first goal was, for me, a shocking illustration of just how spineless this Arsenal team are. No attempt was made to tackle the guy who made the run into the box...and when De Bruyne took his shot, the Arsenal fullback DUCKED to get his head out of the way! Can you imagine any of our squad doing that?

I noticed that when city players had had a shot, they made no attempt to be ready for the rebound. Wilder wouldn’t stand for that.

I was listening to talk sport yesterday the two presenters were talking about us, 1 said to the other, I really enjoy watching sheffield United the other 1 said, yes everybody knows how they set up and play but none of the top managers and tacticians know how to stop it, because really they don't have a specific playmaker so they cant say stop so and so and you stop sheffield United which I thought yes that's true

I was listening to 5 Live yesterday afternoon as they were previewing the matches.

On to the Wolves V Spurs preview the presenter asks the question 'are we completely ignoring how well Wolves are doing this season because we've all been blown away by Sheffield United'd performances?'

Same as last night on MOTD2 I thought - we are not even playing today and yet we are getting brought up in conversations in such a positive light.

Leon Osman said the same on final score. He was basically alluding to the fact that we do the basics right, which in fairness we do and Wilder would accept no less.

I don’t mind that point of view because in essence its right and it’s what allows us to play the way we do. What is frustrating is that they completely dismiss the intricacies in our play that allow us to play in the way we do. A lot of pundits now seem to be understanding the way we play more the more they see us. However Osman and Crooks clearly don’t understand our tactics at all. I think it shows how bad they both are as pundits.

Yes we do the simple things right but there’s a hell of a lot more that goes into our play than that. I think it’s an insult to Wilder and Knill that they have failed to recognise that.

It's ridiculous isn't it. What part of a wing back crossing for another wing back to score is part of "basics." Which part of the basics were we adhering to when our centre half galavanted up field, bypassing the opposition's defence with a backheel for our right midfielder to cross for our left midfielder to knock it in at the front post..

I could go on & on with this. We're anything but basic.

Prime time TV pundits on national TV are now genuinely asking if any of the Arsenal team are good enough to be considered for Sheffield United. Never mind answering the question, let it sink in that the question is even being asked.

We've also got to consider whether any of them would get into the Snorters team.
After all, they've got even better llayers than us .

It's the 'big foreign' names that make the PL the saleable product it is. The WilderKnill product is embarrassing that product with unfashionable players and an unfashionable club. At the moment it is seen as sweet, if it continues I will be interested to see how that is viewed.
I think that's why Crooks calls our football simple. We have no foreign names and we work really hard. Had Barcelona scored both our goals on Sat, especially the second, would any have called that simple? No, utter bollocks. What Crook means by simple is, he doesn't understand how it is happening. I have been supporting Crooks up to now but he really is starting to show himself up as a bit of a plopcarpet.

He is at the moment, but he's also 31 so will need replacing at some point.

Don't and haven't ever understood the clamour for Chambers. Gone backwards since he left southampton (who doesn't when they do to Arsenal). He's not comfortable on the ball, seen him make a fair few high profile gaffs through pratting around with the ball. He's also not the best passer.

For what he'd command....it's a no from me, wouldn't get in either.
