New posts on his social media show him training alone. No mention of the blades at all. That 72 hour contract and buying of a new house seems a long time ago. Are we worried that he wont? He has so much potential to be a Championship player or higher. I hope we do keep him otherwise its another hole we need to fill.Screenshot_20240618_114331_X.jpg

Of course he's training alone. The players aren't due back in training yet
Correct, just was highlighting the fact he was training thats all.

Its a big hole to fill as its relatively cheap wages vs costing to buy someone of his ability and age in the championship with a higher wage.

Our most senior striker (Brewster) has played the same amount of games as Kazuyoshi Miura in the last 4 years, and Miura is 57 years old.

We need players and this is a free one vs someone we would have to fork out a lot for an equivalent.

Souza's instagram looks similar so assume it is just training on their own. I do hope we get an announcement soon one way or another though!

And they've both played a lot more than Jebbison.

How is it egan can train at United, pics on insta but jebbison doesn’t?

Cause jebbeson is trying to convince whoever is trying to buy him that he's fit..

Good luck to whoever that is, they'll need it based on his history..

I genuinely believe if he stays he'll be sat in the stands or on the treatment table..

It's a no from me, time to move on..

Egan is training with us, but thats obviously rehab.
Gus is working his ass off I've notice, somewhere warm.

Difference is Egan is probably working his arse off at the club trying to convince 'us' to give him a new deal. Jebbo isn't really arsed where he plays and his agent is working his arse off to get both him and Jebbo a big signing on fee somewhere else.

Said before end of season he'd be doing summer training.

Surprised he's still only 20! Been waiting years for him to come good but I've not seen one game in the championship or premiership where he's been good?

That's the thing, wages can't be an issue, surely it would have been wiser to stick him under the wing and see if he comes good. Especially dropping down a division, or even loaning out whilst keeping on a long enough contract to make some cash on him if he isn't quite good enough but can still command a fee?

Not be practicing the best part of his game if he's on his own, who will he point at!!??

I'm guessing that he's demanding top championship wages so league 1 clubs wouldn't be able to afford to cover it?

He has gone some dummies of various players just to be able to work on those arm muscles he needs in a real time situation.

A lot of brinkmanship going on at the moment by both the club and players.

Everybody trying to get the best deal possible and/or hoping that we get this goddam takeover sorted.

Thing is even without the takeover, we have to be one of the highest wage payers in the division due to parachute payments and the advantage of 7 consecutive years of PL money. There won't be a queue of PL clubs wanting to sign them so where are they going to get significantly more money?

Maybe this is an indication that apart from at the upper echelons the days of ridiculous salaries are coming to an end.

His absence wasn’t his doing or him being “injury prone”.

Ability FFS DONE FUCK ALL

I knew somebody would say this, it's OK, that's your opinion and I value it..

But while he may have "allegedly" had issues with his blood, he's continued to get two sleeves of tattoos and the ink that goes with it into that bloodstream..

We only want him to kick a football about on the grass now and then..and the final game miracle has worn thin on me..

Then to stall on a contract with a club that has done everything for him while he's been unwell..

I call that ungrateful..

That's my opinion, bet you won't want to respect it though!

I want my (paid) footballers playing football, and if they don't play, and we still pay them then the least we can expect should be loyalty..
