Agents….. yet again!!! Cancer of our game and they continue to ruin good young players.
He’s been badly advised or wilfully stupid this summer.

He could have signed for us on favourable terms (contract length, release clause, etc) and all he would needed to do is put out some half-arsed sound bite about the “club being home” and “wanting to push on and repay faith” - that would have bought it a lot of good will, and patience from the fans, and I imagine he’d be getting similar treatment to Peck, Brooks, and the other homegrown young blades right now.

Instead he’s moved to a club miles from “home” where half of his new team mates won’t ever learn his name and will be treated according to his status, as one of many speculative punts; a scratch card.

Furthermore, he’s gone on loan to another championship club, where instead of loyalty and patience, there’s demands and expectations, with any bond built with supporters likely temporary and fleeting (if he builds any kind of rapport at all that is).

His summer decisions have seen him move from a club with an obvious striker shortage, in a familiar setting to a club synonymous with player/manager churn and general instability. Well done you plonker.

I was told a story last Autumn whilst he was not playing of him boasting about his wage. I’m guessing he thinks he’s made the right decision.

Jebbo’s problem is that he thought he’d ’made it’ after his goal against Everton. I was talking to someone here who’s affiliated with an organisation called UK Football Trials and Jebbo got his move into English football through them, it’s basically where pushy parents send their kids and pay for them to go and play in front of a load of scouts, says a lot about how he’s been pushed into the game and probably told he’s amazing since very young.

I know with Osula it’s a different scenario as we got good money for him but he came on last few mins on Saturday and the commentator said he’d had 9 mins prior to that this season. That’s probably 12 mins for the season now for him.

After his goal against Everton he went on loan to Burton in league 1 and did really well. Presumably he wasn't so arrogant that he thought he'd made it at that point...

Last time I checked League 1 was still a professional league.

Honestly, and I really don’t mean this as a jibe to the lad, but I really don’t get what Jebbison has that makes others see potential. IMO he doesn’t have a single attribute that makes him really ‘stand out’ physically or technically from anyone else. He’s alright at pretty much everything, but not particularly good at anything.

I really hope he goes on to completely prove me wrong & end up as a premier league striker for the rest of his career, but if I were a betting man I’d be lumping on him ending up in league 1 or lower pretty soon.

Still stand by this. Can’t get into an average Watford side but when he does, doesn’t do anything. A very ‘meh’ footballer.
