I generally really enjoy looking at the tactical analysis and thinking about who we should pick, what formation etc..
However - after yesterday's capitulation I have finally realised that all this group of players need to be told at the moment is:
effort
Try harder
Run more and faster
Run on the ball and off it
Mark people properly
Jump higher
Win tackles
Harass opponents at all times when they have the ball
Concentrate from set pieces
Clear the ball a long way when you're defending
Shoot at goal when you get a chance
attitude
Don't fucking think it's everyone else's responsibility to win the game
Don't think you're a quality player when you're getting turned over week in week out
JUST DO THE FUCKING BASICS RIGHT!!!
(once you're doing that - THEN tactics etc can start to make a difference..)
