A player ive seen a few times on tv , 26 year old and a tall athletic centre forward a player i think would be a benefit to this team has a good allround game, notts county are on the box tonight so have a look at him would be an option we dont have at the time beign . I think a cheeky bid with option of Ryan One going the other way on loan could be a good move

Sort of player our scouts probably arent even aware of. Maybe not a 'culture carrier' so not for us. Bit of presence up front though from the bit i saw of him.

Bit of a gamble but out of contract in the summer so could probably pick him up relatively cheap.

I remember us picking up a certain Brian Deane from Doncaster Rovers in 1988, that turned out OK. Deane had scored 12 in 62 for Donny and Jatta has 30 in 58 for County. There is certainly the odd gem that can still make the step up from the lower leagues for sure and with Jatta's contract up in the summer I would be amazed if a Championship club doesn't take a punt on him in Jan.

Jatta's scored a boatload of goals at Notts but feels like maybe one to go after if we go down and if they don't go up.

Difference between him and Langstaff is that he's 6 inches taller and no matter which league he plays in, its a difference maker, especially with set pieces being back on the agenda again.

If you're average height and don't have any particularly outstanding attribute in terms of pace, strength, movement, dribbling, can jump high, aggression, leadership qualities or general footballing acumen, you'll get found out (see Tom Cannon).

Could be worth a punt and lets face it, he wouldn't need to score too many to be a better value signing than most of the strikers we've signed in the last few years.

You would imagine that Wilder might have asked Didzy about him when doing his character checks.

Rules us out then. Wilder can’t handle big characters.
Funny really because considering the character of some of Wilder's signings, the bar for the dickhead test isn't especially high!

Fingers pointing squarely in the direction of McBurnie and his misdemeanours and especially Mousset as ones whose behaviour and application were hardly sparkling. Mousset in particular could have been an all time great for us if he had half a brain and a smaller gut.

Jack Robinson as the "culture carrier" an especially worrying one.

Instead of a "cheeky bid", could we not try something like a sensible offer instead?

Deano,right there,right now.

agree, a very Deano like finish!
I think someone would take a chance on him higher up,maybe bottom half championship, but now they've gone up he might stick around with them.
He seems to be improving his all round game season to season, coming deeper to get the ball and link up the play and then arriving in the box for crosses coming in,or like yesterday getting on the end of longer balls.

This is a player who the local press indicates had had 3 acl ops . Ideal for us !!

I've watched him a few times and I didn't t think he's anything special, i e, not championship standard. Think he's scored 16 goals this season for a string Notts team so he's not prolific in league 2 albeit decent scoring record.

Id prefer Sidibah from Stockport as a similar but better alternative. He's absolutely rapid.
