Lot of interesting decisions to be made in the JTW, especially if we carry on playing the way we are.
I’m pretty much assuming that the takeover won’t happen now. The Prince can smell another promotion and won’t want to let go, unless an investor is willing to pay a higher price to gain control in January rather than in June.
Will there be bids for , Arblaster, Hamer, Souza and Anel? At what price would we sell, or how much do they want to go?
Will JRS be recalled?
Will Souttar
Should we offer Brewster an extension, if his form continues and he stays injury free?
Do we buy a new striker? Who and what style of player should we buy? Could this risk the balance of the team?

I think it'll completely depend on injuries and fatigue. If we're struggling to keep momentum, we might see one of the youngsters out and a few experienced players come on who aren't getting games elsewhere to take us over the line. Otherwise, unless we get some major investment, I can't really see us doing much.

Brewster- what form?
Anything good now is a blip at best, his overall credentials have already been cemented. He'll be on mega money as our record signing. Get him off the books ASAP.

Been as we seemingly couldn’t afford to get the extra couple of loans in at the end of the summer window I’m hoping for an uneventful Jan.

Assuming no take over one loan (striker) in and zero outs would be a success in my mind considering.

We sighed Madine and Hanson to get us over line in wilders other promotion seasons. Back to Warnocks time we sighed Akinbyi and Horsefield.
Best one in recent years will probably be the 18/19 promotion season, followed closely by 16/17 league 1 season.

18/19: G Madine (loan), K Dowell (loan), S Hogan (loan), O Norwood (loan turned into a permanent)

16/17: J Hanson (permanent), S Caruthers (permanent), J O'Shea (loan), J Riley (loan)

I think Joe Riley (can't remember who we loaned him from) got injured after 1 game anyway.

Given the performances to-date compared to the expected implosion following last season, if we can keep up the pace, we will be a much more attractive loan destination than we were last summer.

Yes, we’ll be more attractive but if there isn’t the budget there then it won’t matter.

We reportedly had deals agreed in the summer but pulled the plug last minute due to complications with the take over and PA not wanting to fund them himself.

Indeed, if we're around the automatic spots we'll be near the top of the queue for players that aren't featuring in the Prem.

In my eyes we have 15 games to get through before any signings can be added to this group. We desperately need at least 3 players in the JTW. Even if we could sell Slimane and Coulibaly etc for some extra funds.

LW
ST

I think the emphasis is going to be placed on the two available loan spots, but I agree that we need to sign at least a LW and ST.

CM isn't as desperate if old Davies gets back fit.
Not to mention we have Hamer and Shackleton who can cover in that CM pairing if necessary.

But LW and ST should be the priority positions, and given the 2 players we were linked with in the summer (Tom Cannon and Mikey Johnstone), CW sees this as a priority as well.

What we need and what we end up with will be 2 different things.

We will defo go back in for McBurnie which is not what we need for 1.

There's a former LW who can also play as a ST currently being left out in the cold at Southampton... just saying like.

We could do with a plan B. A striker who can score goals maybe

We will not be doing much business without selling first. We have to balance the budget this season, and that is why we were unable to bring in another loan striker at the end of the August window.

So unless there is a takeover complete I don’t expect any changes.

Cannon who is currently at Stoke, maybe.

The worry is that we'll have to sell, so Gus, Arblaster, Peck or Anel. If there's no sign of this takeover, one of these may have to go. Just to balance the books.

Manure
2 ‘appearances’
Injured (shoulder) in training
Now @ Fylde ! :- just about relegation places in National League (5th tier) manager Kevin Phillips of Sun’lun ‘fame’

we had 3 lined up at the end of august until abdullah stepped in and blocked the moves and without additions in january we can forget top 6 let alone top 2 but still a long way to go and weve got ourselves into a great position for top 6 we have to bring at least 3 in
