Woody , we cannot moan at all . Mr Clough , the board , and all associated with SUFC have done wonders this JTW. We as a club have shown our intent for the promotion push this season , and if achieved , rebuilding will commence again next season.

A striker may come in on loan , but for the last couple of matches , we certainly ain't been goal shy.

Credit where credits due to the club , especially Mr Clough.

Lord, I know you are a positive fan and I respect what you say. My problem with Clough is that we should be in contention for auto promotion and we are not, unless two out of three teams collapse and that is highly unlikely. With our budget it has to be acknowledged that he has put together a very large squad, in fact too large and some of the cash spent on all those numbers should have gone on strikers.

Having said that, we are in good shape now and should be favourites to win the Play-Offs by the time they come around. If we do then all will be forgotten. As always I also acknowledge the magic that has been provided in the cups.

I put average (puts on tin hat).

I'm amazed we haven't signed a striker at all. The Brayford signing is class of course, but the rest in my view are probably average for where we want to be i.e. mid table at least in Championship. I'm utterly amazed we haven't got a goal scorer in. The best we can hope for is playoffs of course but if you look at other teams around us like Preston, Swindon etc, I think its madness going into a playoff fight with them without more goalscorers. Yes we've scored more goals recently, yes tightning up our defence will make us less likely to lose, but i'm really perplexed we didn't sign a single striker, not even an average one when goals is our biggest problem. Lots of footie still to be played of course, I just thought we had learnt from numerous playoff defeats without strikers not to try that one again.

In the summer now if we're able to revive the COG bid and bring in a replacement for Doyle as the anchor in midfield I feel we'd be pretty well equipped to compete again in League One or even up in the Championship should the best case scenario happen this season
What's so special about OGrady? A very plodding, average ex pig. A workhorse at best, and a journeyman who can't score goals.FFS.
