We have apparently offered them £400 k
Cog not happy down there, as his family want to stay up north, realises he has made a mistake when he signed but contract was too good to turn down.
Deal agreed in principal for when they sign a replacement which they now have. Fully expect him to sign on Thursday, although they may still want option of only letting him go on loan in the hope that he may be successful with us and some other Northern club come in with a bigger offer. They also want us to take over his contract, so a tangled web.

Source, my mates wife knows his wife.

Latest from BM itk'er

"Everything is agreed for O Grady to sign a permanent contract with us before the transfer window closes. However, until that happens nothing is guaranteed, things can change quickly in football.Unfortunately O Grady started last night, and according to a source down there at the game was `immense`, he received a standing ovation when subbed. No one can predict what O Grady is thinking, he loves to be loved, will he stop down there?, and after all he knew where Brighton was when he signed, it was just Hyppias treatment of him, which depressed him, or will he move back full time to the North. Hughton knows the score, as Strapon says, but until he actually signs for us, its never a `done deal`, that is one of the risks of posting on forums. my info was 100% accurate when posted, but things can change quickly. Fingers crossed he dosen`t destroy Arsenal at the weekend!"
